Flamingo Tag

Hello everyone,

I have created this cute tag card using a CTMH wreath stamp and Hero Arts layering flamingo. The cs is SU. Recollections,Momenta. Ink is SU. The dragon fly did not have logo so I don't have any idea what set its from. There were six small stamps in the set. The ribbon bow is from Walmart. I like the way it turned out and will add it to a few challenges.

Glittery Snowflake

Hi everyone,
I am doing some Christmas cards lately.  I have been busy and need to start putting them up on my blog.  This was a fun card to create. The card base is neenah white cs cut at 7 x 10 and folded to make a 5 x 7 card.  I used SU real red card stock for the top layer. I used the SU lacy border punch and punched out a border on each side of the top layer. It left a solid piece in the center of the card stock. It was glued onto the card base. I used the neenah cs for the circle using Q-kuts die. I cut 2 banners using the spellbinders die. They were layered onto the circle. The snowflake was a cut that I had in my stash. I punched a hole in the banners and added a red ribbon and tied a bow. The sentiment is also neenah  card stock. I then added a sentiment. I am not sure what stamp set I used. The red sequins were added randomly. I really liked how this card turned out.

I will add this card into  the
Craftyhazelnut Christmas challenge - cute or anything goes as long as its Christmas

Thank you all for stopping by and hope you enjoy the card. Have a fabulous day.

Butterfly Anniversary

Hi everyone,

I know I haven't posted much lately but I will try and do better. The base card is pacific point with a layer of white on the inside and a top layer on the out. I put the outer front layer into an embossing folder and then swiped a silver ink pad gently over the top to bring out the pattern. I have used a SU stamp called watercolor wings for the butterfly. Its a two step stamp. I used black, marina mist stamped off once and then again full strength. The fancy butterfly is also from SU called buttertfly thinlets. I die cut the butterfly with my big shot. I added lots of silver glitter for sparkle and shine. The sentiment is so lovely  from an older SU set called Dreams DeJour. The ribbon was added three times and then I added a bow. Ribbon is also SU.  I gave this card to some friends for their tenth Anniversary.
I will add this card to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge.

Dasher Tag

Happy days everyone,

My post today is a tag I made for the Simon Says Wednesday challenge. All supplies are SU except for the flower and ribbon.  I love making tags but don't make them often enough. The tag base is SU real red then I used the big shot with a textured plate.
The deer is on whisper white cs and  is called Dasher from SU. I used versa mark to stamp it with and applied silver embossing powder and heat set. Then layered it onto elegant egg plant cs. The snow drift was torn and inked with real red. The sentiment is SU Holiday best stamp set inked in black, I then added a poinsettia flower from my stash. The corner border is a piece of the top that I cut off the tag for added interest. The ribbon is from my stash also.

I am adding my tag into this challenge

Mind Scapes

Happy card making day to everyone. I went to a card class today and made some cards. I didn't take the right glue so I have to finish them at home. This is not one of the cards made in class. It was so much fun. I will go to the class next Oct too.

The base of his card is 5x7 and I used neenah cs.  I made a sketch template in word for the background layout 4.75 x 6.75 and printed it onto neenah cs. On each of the squares I used lots of post it note to cover up the squares.  Then I could use distress ink linen sponging in each of the squares. Before I removed the post its I took my stamp and stamped before moving on to the next square. The stamp set I used is Inkadinkadoo Mind Scape. The images were inked with memento black and SU old olive. I added a SU old olive ribbon and tied a knot. On the inside of the card I added a second generation stamp of the butterfly. The card took me quite awhile to do but I am pleased with the results. I am hoping the next one will be faster.  I will add my card into this challenge.

House Mouse Holidays

I'm back with a house mouse card this time. They are so adorable, I couldn't resist coloring it. I used the spectrum noir color pencils. It is more vibrant in real life and I am disappointed that  my camera hasn't picked up its beautiful colors. The designer paper is SU from a few years back. The image was printed onto neenah cs. I decided to use a die cut to give the card more interest. I then used a red pen and added dots onto the scallop edging. The ribbon is also SU but it had to have a knot other wise it was just too bulky for the card. I cut the button with the buntings and buttons die in the star shape for the top of the tree. I distressed the star with cherry cobbler SU ink. The sentiment is from the Just Rite stamp set Noel Christmas Ornaments. It is a beautiful set. I used the SU modern label punch and the word punch to use with the sentiment. It is just glued on. I took a liner and outlined the reindeer eye. I added the black and the white twinkle so he looked more awake. I couldn't find my red or green twine so I used blue to make the bows for the reindeer neck and the mouse in the basket. I used a half inch corner punch on the designer series paper.  I hope you enjoyed seeing my card, and feel like leaving me a comment.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Have a Sunny Day!

Hi My lovely followers,

It has been a while since I posted but I was off with a broken wrist and it took a bit longer to heal than it should have. Then I just seemed to have lost my mojo along the way.  I was cleaning and purging in my craft room and it just made me want to get back into the creating mode. I created this card this morning and decided I would post it. The stamp is Sarah Kay and it is such a cute stamp. I just wanted to do a quick card for a birthday girl. I coloured the image with spectrum noir coloured pencils and I really enjoyed sitting down and relaxing with this image.
The card base is neenah cs, The designer paper I am not sure as it was a scrap I used. The blue is SU bashful blue. I used Martha Stuart vine trellis  border punch. The ribbon is also from my stash. The sentiment is from the Pink Stamper set country living. It has some cute saying in it.

Stamp Sets - Sarah Kay, Pink Stamper
Papers - SU, Neenah cs
Ink - memento black, spectrum noir colored pencils
Accessories- ribbon, MS border punch

I will enter this card into this challenge.

Hi everyone,

Here is a card I made from Deedees Digi Oh hoppy day! I thought it was such a cute set so I had to work with it. I used two of the kangaroos the happy holidays and happy birthday. I just thought it would be so cute to put two of them together. The card base is neenah cs and the DSP are from a K&Company Christmas paper stack.I have used the pre colored images and printed them onto neenah cs. I decided to make a few hills from the neenah card stock then hand cut a couple of hills. I then added some glitter to the snow and some on both images. The ribbon is from SU and I made a bow. The bow isnt showing up much now but it is there. I used a flower from my stash and glittered it with MS fine glitter. I found a pinecone in my stash and took off 4 of the little pieces and added them under the flower. I cut the sentiment with the bitty banner die. The kangaroos are popped up with foam dimentionals. I also decided I wanted the eyes bigger so I used a fine sharpie and then added the white back in the eyes.

I will add this card into this challenge.

I then used a smaller circle and used the DCWV stack and then a larger circle with the same stack to make the card base. I distressed the edges and used dimensional foam to layer them onto the card base. The flowers were punched with an small punch then colored with sukura purple glitter ink and added with glue dots. The pearls were added to the centers with glue dots. The ribbon is also from my stash. I added sukura glitter clear pen onto the wings but it doesn't show in the photo. Hi everyone,

We have another challenge starting today on 613 Ave Create. Our sponsor is Fitztown. I'm using this butterfly image called Fae 18.  I had colored it with copic marker but decided I didn't like it so I   add glitter over top. I used white and yellow MS glitter. The card base is recollections black at 4.25 x 11 then folded in half at 5.5. The yellow layer is staples vanilla cs. Its is embossed using the SU vintage wallpaper folder. I then used distressed black ink to color the raised areas of the embossing. The ribbon is from my stash. To finish the card I used silver sequins. I added the sentiment inspire by inkadinkadoo #11 with stazon black  onto the bitty banner die from SU. I then used distress yellow to go over the tag a little. I hope you will feel inspired to make a project and join our challenge.

Warm Fall Wishes Shaker Card

Hi everyone,
Here is my DT project for this month on Deedee's Digis. This set is called Fall Warm-up. I printed the image onto neenah cs. The base card is Recollections brown cs cut at 4.25x 11 on the long side. I decided on a shaker card. The size is 4x4 and I added 2 layers of foam then added the glitter and rhinestones. I should have added powder before I glued the clear plastic on the top. The glitter is sticking to the plastic. The top layer is a sizzix frame die cut using the big shot using Recollections DSP .  I have distressed the edges of the frame. I added a small orange ribbon from my stash that seems to go well with the leaf in the top left corner. I added a small knot as the bow. The sentiment is also from the fall warm up set cut with SU modern label punch.

It's The Little Things

Hi everyone,

Here is my second DT card for Deedees Digis. This is still the montly challenge set called Fall Warm-Up. This time I have used the hot cocoa. My card base is Recollections dark red. The DSP pad had no cover on it so I have no idea what brand it is. I printed the image onto neenah cs and used SU riding hood red and distressed it around the whole image. I did the same with the sentiment. I then added white enamel dots and a beatiful yellow bow. I added foam to the cocoa layer to raise it up over the sentiment. I finished the inside with the same DSP and added white paper to put the writing on.

Hi everyone,

This is the first challenge on The Fairy's in Time challenge. Our sponsor is Stitchy Bear Stamps. I am using this adorable ballet fairy dancer. I had decided she would look great in purple hues. I printed the image onto neenah cs and used a corner punch on the edges. I colored with copic markers. E00,000, 21, V01,0000, N2,4,6,8. I did add V01 on her face and the cheek/lip area. I added the clear sukura glitter pen on the crown and the wings. The cs is SU and the DSP is from a 6x6 forever in time scrapbook collection pad. Its all in shades of purples.I layered the image onto a piece of The SU purple. The bottom of the layer was punched with a MS border punch and then over the layer of DSP. I used SU bird punch for the leaves. I stamped one of the flowers in the petite petals set from SU and used the coordinating punch to cut them out. I layered the flowers over the left side of the leaves and added some clear rhinestones to the centers. The small tag was cut from spellbinders back to basic tags die using the big shot. The sentiment is from an older SU hostess spring and summer set from 08/09 called dream a little. I added SU ribbon bow and a small piece to put in the tag. I used the Tim Holtz tiny attacher to hold it in place.

Thank you so much for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!
