Lotus Blossoms

Hi Everyone
I hope your all having a wonderful day. I decided to make a birthday card for a friend. This gorgeous stamp is from SU and its called Lotus Blossom. I love it but it did take a bit of practice on my part getting them to line up properly. I should say a lot of practice it was not coming together easily for me. Finally got it and I love it! The card base is SU old olive and the layer is whisper white. I only used one ink and stamped off with real red. The third stamp off really didn't show a lot abut it was effective enough for me. I had some small flowers in my stash so added them and decided it would look cute with a feather. It doesn't show much but it is there. I added a few of the gorgeous grunge little dots and a butterfly to finish the card off. I will add this card to these challenges

Hi everyone,

Our challenge on 613 Ave Create this week is Scrappers Delight. I am using this  cute image called Cupid 2. I printed it onto neenah card stock and colored it with copic markers E000.00.11.51,35,37, R20, BV000,01,02, I then used the sizzix circle dies and cut the image  using the big shot. I then used a smaller circle and used the DCWV stack and then a larger circle with the same stack to make the card base. I distressed the edges and used dimensional foam to layer them onto the card base. The flowers were punched with an small punch then colored with sukura purple glitter ink and added with glue dots. The pearls were added to the centers with glue dots. The ribbon is also from my stash. I added sukura glitter clear pen onto the wings but it doesn't show in the photo. It is very pretty in real life. I hope this will inspire you to make something and join in our challenge.

Todays card image is called fashion gal chanelle. I printed it on neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E 000,00,21, R20,81,83,85, I fussy cut her out and layered the card with DSP unknown and then added a small doily. It has sparkles on the doily using sukura clear glitter pen. The flowers were punched with a small flower punch using the same DSP. I colored the pearls in the center with R83. The butterfly was punched with a small MS punch. The sentiment is from my word program. I cut a notch from one end and added a few dots around it to make it not fade into the back ground. I wish I had of done the same with the doily. The ribbon is seam binding from SU made into a bow and then a small brad was added with glue dots.

Hi everyone,

Todays challenge on 613 Ave Create is create your own. Our sponsor this week is Fred She Said. I designed the front of my card in MS Word by putting the flowers in the corners. I prined the image onto neenah card stock. I then made a couple of smaller flowers to add on top of the corner flowers and popped them up with dimensional. I colored the images with copic markers. R81,83, YG 03,24, Black 100, Y21, V02. I found this cute saying in my stash and thought it would be great for this card. I have had it for awhile so I am not sure where I got it.  I used a spellbinders majestic elements die to cut the image and also a pink one to bring the colors together. The butterfly is from the same set. I added Rhinestones on the flowers centers and a few across the top and side panels. The card base and the one circle is SU pretty in pink.

Thank you all for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Wine Gets Better with Age Post it Holder

Hi everyone,

Our challenge at 613 Ave Create this weeks sponsor is Bugaboo and the theme is make a post it note holder or anything goes. I am using this stamp called make it snappy friends. I printed the image onto neenah cs and  water-colored the image with cotmans watercolor paints. My card base is Staples 110 lb vanilla cs cut at 4.25 x 11 and scored at 5.5 and then the top half was folded in half again. The DSP is from DCWV. It doesn't show much but I wanted the card stock front to look good when it was folded. I added recollections kraft cs around the image for more of a focal point. I stamped two of the SU petite flowers polka dot stamp and punched it with the matching punch. The flowers were inked using kiwi kiss. I had two green gems that I put in the center of the flowers. I was just going to glue the post it note onto the bottom of the easel but decided to make a box to put it in instead. The first box I made didn't fit the post its so I had to recalculate and redo it. I used MS border punch and added a small edge on each side and on the front of the box. They were distressed with SU crumb cake ink. The sentiment is from another bugaboo stamp.

The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is from a 4x6 DCWV paper pad. I added a little wink os stella on the highlighted parts. The sentiment is My favorite things sentiment set. Hi everyone,

Our sponsor on the Fairy's Challenge for the 15th of July is Aurora Wings digital stamps. I love these gorgeous stamps. They are so much fun to color. I printed the image onto neenah cs and cut it out with the spellbinders grand oval scallop die. I left it in the die and used SU chalk and chalked bashful blue around the image and that left the white border around the image. I added a few dots to the background using SU gorgeous grunge stamp set. I colored the image with copic markers. E00,000,21,51, R02,29, Y26, B21,23, V15,17. I added a lot of sparkle using sukura glitter pen. I decided to add a shirt on her using the R02 and then drew some flowers on it with the glitter pen. I cut the large flowers with MS flower punch and the smaller ones with ek success punch. I molded them and added pearls in the centers. The leaves were cut with MS vine punch. The ribbon was CTMH white seam binding that I colored using the R02 marker. I added assorted pearls randomly. The DSP is from a DCWV stack and I used the MS pointed flower border punch around it for more of a lacy look. I hope you have enjoyed my take on this image.

I will enter this image into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I have an image from the East Wind to share with you all today. This beautiful image is called Belle of the Ball. I have printed The image onto artist loft watercolor paper and colored it with peerless watercolors. I then cut the image to the size I wanted. I then added some wink of stella on the image. The flowers were made using the spellbinders small blossoms die. I added some glue on the top of them and added some glitter. I used sukura clear glitter pen for the little dots in her hair. I added a ribbon and on the ribbon I added a small flower using the SU small flower punch. I then added a rhinestone. The base card is a 4.25 x 5.5 SU sky blue and the white is neenah solor white cs. The DSP is also SU but it had been retired for some time now. I still have quite a bit left. The watercolor paper warped a little but it isn't that noticeable. I like how this card turned out warped and all.

I will add this card into this challenge.

Watercolored flowering branch

Hi everyone,
I am using a cute branch of flowers from Beccy's Place. The card base is SU natural cs. I find it goes very well with the watercolor paper. The bashful blue is also SU cs. The image was printed onto artist loft 90 lb paper. The trim on the top and bottom of the card I used the MS trellis punch. The stamp is from SU well scripted set.  I used a spellbinders die to cut the image after it was watercolored. I then used the gorgeous grunge on each side of the sentiment but then I wish I hadn't. So I decided to cover some of it up by putting in some silver sequins and then added some pearls on the top of them. I then decided it looked finished.

I will enter this card into this challenge.

Maddie and Clover Goth

Hi everyone,

I bought a few of the spectrum markers because they were on a special at one of our stores. The price was $7.99 for 6 markers. I like the marker and they do work well but I think they should have at least made the end caps the color of the marker. I was very surprised to see a different color on the markers and the end caps. If any of you decide to purchase them it is a good idea to download the color chart from their web site. It will be much easier to use them.

I was making this card for the Lacy Sunshine loyalty program. I printed my image and got the background ready when I realized It was Maddy shopping image. So back to getting the right image. The challenge this week is show us goth or and nontraditional hair color. I decided it would be fun to do both. I think she turned out super cute.

I printed the image onto neenah cs on grey scale at 3.5 inches. I am using spellbinders hexagon backgrounds. I chalked the background of the image with bashful blue and yellow. I colored the image with spectrum noir markers. I then added some small flowers from my stash and added some grey to the pink flower in her hat and dark yellow on the flowers. I added wink of stella to all the flowers. Then to fill in the space on the left side I added a few of the sequin stars. I hope you like her try out the challenge.

Life's A Beach

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news.

I have been so excited to tell you all that I have been accepted as a new DT member on Deedee's Digi Design's.

I first came across Deedee's Digi Designs Challenge when I was going through Paper Playful challenges a few months ago looking for a challenge to enter my card into. I checked it out and thought how cute and adorable are these images. It is a challange of the month so I do hope you will check it out and join in on the challenge. I love the digis  and started playing in the challenge.

Deedee had a recent DT call so I tried out for the team. I was so thrilled to have been one of the few that were chosen for this term.

June challenge of the month didi is using Life's a Beach set.
The challenge starts today. I thought it was fitting to make a card with this months digi.

The card base is SU yellow. The DSP is from DCWV. I cut two pieces and used MS border punch. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers.  R81,83, Y15,21,23, N2,4,6, B12,14.  I have a very lite pink in the spectrum noir that I have used on the nose. The top part of the image I have used a mask for the clouds and filled the background with bashful blue SU chalk. On the bathing suit I decided it needed something extra so I took a white sukura gel pen and made the polka dots. I then layered a piece of black behind the image. I also rounded the corners on the image and layer. The sentiment is from the same set. Such a cute sentiment. I punched it our with the SU scalloped oval. I cut two more out of the black cs and cut them in half. I then layered them around the sentiment.  I used flowers from my stash for the right side of the card.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

The fence was also a MS border punch. I used my score board and scored every half inch. It doesn't show in the photo.
