Beautiful Hair

Hi everyone,

There is another challenge starting at The Fairy's Blog today. Our sponsor is Sami Stamps. I have used this beautiful stamp that I will call Beautiful hair. I did have fun with this image . The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is DCWV sweet stack. Three strips were cut at 1.5 in strips and glued to the base. I printed the image onto neenah cs and cut it out with a spellbinders die. The background is coloured with SU chalks. bashful blue, mellow moss, pretty in pink. The image is coloured with copic markers. E00,000,11,31,33,35,37, R20,81, V01,12. I added a butterfly to the top left corner and added 3 pearls in the center. Pearls were also added into the girls hair. I took some flowers from my stash and added them to the right side. The white, yellow flower and the leaves were cut with the cricut and flower shoppe cartridge. I then rolled them to make the flowers. The small leaves are from MS leaves border punch using SU old olive paper. I added some glitter to the butterfly and the flowers. I hope you enjoyed my creation and that it gave you some inspiration to try something new.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Mrs Claus Gift Card

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor this week at 613 Avenue Create is Kenny K digi. I choose to use Mrs.Claus and fussy cut her out after printing her onto neenah solor white cs. I colored her with copic markers. E00,000,21,35,31, R22,24,27, N4,6,8. I created a simple gift card holder die cut using make the cut software and cut with my cricut. Now I am not sure if it would be called a shape card but I  used it anyway.

I used recollections kraft card stock and  S.E.I  DSP using  a Christmas paper stack. I have had this paper for a few years now, I am not sure if you can still get it. I took and embossing folder border edge to use on each side using the big shot. I took a blue geleto's marker to go over the embossing.

I decorated the inside as well as the front. I made a snow drift with scraps. punched our small snowflakes, MS fern punch, and ribbon. The red flowers were cut with the same snowflake punch and I added a dot in the center. The white rose was make using a mold with soft clay. The inside snowflakes are from a larger punch. I die cut the white shape for the sentiment using a spellbinders. The sentiment is SU Best Yet . It too is an older stamp set.

The Micheal's gift card is one that I got from my granddaughter for my birthday. It is just to show that a gift card fits in the space. I might still put a Velcro closure on it. I really enjoyed creating this card.

Thank you for stopping by, hope you enjoyed. Happy creating!

Hi everyone,

It's my turn to post on Shelia's blog She's a Sassy Lady. Thank you Shelia for allowing me to join you today.

I love the stair step cards and today I have another one for you. I cut the stair step from Penny Duncan Creations free svg file. It is so nice to be able to cut any size. It also has the inside as a cut file. I cut this one at 5.5x5.5. The DSP is from a Recollections stack. The digi is from Lacy Sunshine called Gemma Drop. She is so cute. I coloured her with copic markers. E00,000,21,31,33,35, YG61,63, BV01,02 N0. It needed a bit more for embellishments so I took my pencil and drew 2 more marshmellows using the two that Heather has beside Gemma as a pattern to follow.  I then popped them up with dimensional's. The sentiment is from Pink by Design stamp set. I will enter this card into these challenges.

My Copic Marker Inventory Book

Hi everyone,

This is my first posting for Shelia at She's a Sassy Lady. Most of you know how much I like my copic markers. Its nice to be able to see what I have and what other colours I would like to have.   I made this journal quite a few months ago but couldn't decide what I wanted as my front cover. Well as you can see I finally finished it. Her is my copic Inventory book.

I downloaded this copic chart from Frillions by Eli at
 http://frillions.wordpress.com/2012/01/02/copic-colors-notebook-tutorial/
There are a lot of different charts made by a lot of talented people. You just need to find one you like and download it.

I printed off the pages and cut them into 4. The front and back covers were made from the inside cardboard of two large chocolate bars. The chocolate was so yummy. They are a beautiful gold and feel as strong as chip board. I used my cinch to bind the book. This book was also the first book I bound on my cinch. How easy it was too. I then took my markers and added the colours to the pages.

To decorate the cover I used SEI winter song DSP stack. Its a Christmas stack but it had the colours I was looking for. The Chocolate brown solid paper was a scrap piece so I am not sure where it came from. I used Cricut Craft Room to cut the letters copic markers. Its from the free font cricut basic. I used a white gel pen on the letters. The flowers were white but I coloured them with E29 and the ribbon is from my stash.    The image is a Saturated Canary Digi called Blanche. I used a  SU die around the image for the shape. I doodled around the shape and then coloured with copic. E00,000,21,29,37,35, R24,27,29, Sukura clear glitter for the earrings. I will add this book into these challenges.

Little Yogi Framed

Hi everyone,

I am so happy to be posting today's project. I always feel good when I see my little Yogi 's picture. How can you tell I am a pet lover. Todays post is for 613 ave create. Our sponsor is Fred She Said and I have chosen to do a cut file for them. This file has lots of formats and my cricut used svg. The file is called wrought iron frame. I was so please with how well it cut and it came out so clean. Love it. I also distressed around all the edges and then I traced around the inside of the opening on the photo and cut it out. I thought he would look cute with a bow tie so I used some twine to match the colour in the photo. I added liquid pearls around the image. I will add this frame into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I am so thrilled to be choosen as a guest designer for the Lacy Sunshine blog. This is the new image Heather sent me to use. Isn't he/she cute with the butterfly on his nose. The digi is called just friends. I printed the image onto neenah solor white cs then coloured it with copic markers. I then decided to use my cricut and the elegant edges cartridge to make a shape card. I used the cricut craft room to make the card base and the layer for the front. I broke my gypsy a few weeks ago and I so loved using it. Now I have no choice but to use the craft room. It took a bit of a learning curve but I did manage just fine. I fussy cut around the image and popped it up with dimentionals. I added flower brads and ribbon to match the colours. It is a cas card.  I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I had a  busy day here but I still managed to take Yogi for a walk. I had to purchace a thundershirt for him today but I have put it off long enough. He has seperation anxiety and I do hope this will help him. I think the problem is that I don't leave him alot. The places I go I usually take him with me. I live in a condo so the barking and whining is not allowed. I was told this would help so if it does it is well worth the price.

On with today's card. Our sponsor at 613 Ave Create this week is Rick St Dennis and this cutie is named Texas and the challenge is anything goes. I printed her onto neenah white CS and colored her with copics. The DSP is from DCWV so I wanted to use some copics to match it up. I used a spellbinders die for the greenery on the and the roses at the bottom I made and distressed them with pale plum ink. pearls were added to the centre and I used the cricut to make the leaves for them. I added ribbon, pearls and rhinestones. I added lots of glitter but it doesn't show much. I will enter this into these challenges.

Hi everyone,
It was a very quiet day here so I rested and then colored this cute image and made it into an easel card, my first easl card. It was easier than I thought it would be.  I choose mostly pinks for this card so I could put it into the Link It Up For Pink Challenge. The image is from Lacy Sunshine Heather Valetin called Lizabeth Wild Daffodil. With the daffodil I thought this would be perfect for a cancer digi. I printed her onto neenah cs and colored her with copics. The papers are from CGD studio DSP stack. This stack is all patterns and shades of pink. I added some pink pearl brads and prima roses. The greenery is from the cricut cartridge floral shoppe. I added ribbon with another brad to finish the card. I will enter this card into these challenges.

I then added blue gems, a pink flower button and a few white liquid pearls. I also made a small stick pin then added a ribbon. Winter Lace Snowflake

Hi everyone,

Just A Scrappin' blog challenge this week is to make a vacation card no green or red and add 3 buttons. I choose to make my vacation a Christmas theme. I used a 4.25x4.25 base and embossed the front with the snowflake cuttlebug folder. I cut three different snowflakes out of the winter lace cartridge. The buttons are cut with the embosslet buttons die # 5 from SU. I made small bows to go on top with white twine. I added stitching with a sukura blue glitter pen. Then added glitter. I used a MS pine punch to add more interest in the snowflake.

Paper - Colorbox white card stock
Ink - sukura blue glitter pen, clear glitter pen
Accessories - MS pine leaf punch, white twine, cricut, bigshot, winter lace cartridge, cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder, SU embosslet buttons die #5, memory box swirl leaf,
