Birdie Fun

Hi everyone,

I really enjoyed coloring and creating this card with the adorable image called Eleanor and Pickles birdie fun. The card base is neenah cs. The frame is a spellbinders die called Just Swingin'. The leaves on the bottom branch were too long so I cut off a few of them so they wouldn't hide so much of Eleanor's hair. I used SU almost artichoke solid cs for the frame. The image is printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,11,51, Y26, B12,14, G99,97,03, V00,01, R81,83, C1,2, YR00. I then colored a small piece of paper with the V01 and R81 and punched our some small flowers with the small SU flowers. I then added some sukura glitter pen to the flower centers , ribbon, gems on her glasses and bits of the water.
I will add this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone.
This adorable image is from Deedee Digital Designs. These images are amazing to work with so please stop by the store and see all of Deedees wonderful art work. Deedee also has a challenge blog here so I do hope you will join in. You will find this Digi here in the store along with lots more wonderful images and sentiments. The image I have used today is called Handmade Happiness found here.

The card base is SU pretty in pink and cut using the spellbinders grand scalloped oval die made into a shape card. The image is just so cute with her sitting there crafting. My favorite think to do. The image was printed onto neenah cs and cut with the smallest of the scallop oval dies. I colored the image with copic markers. N0,2,4, R 20,81,83, Y 21. I have this small flower stamp and stamped it around the image and on the dress. I added a few sequins and then stitched around
the pink and white of the card. The sentiment is one of the few that are offered with this set. It didn't stand up properly so I cut the scallop off the bottom of the card. I hope you have enjoyed this card and will join in on the monthly challenge.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

There is another challenge starting at The Fairy's Blog today. Our sponsor is Sami Stamps. I have used this beautiful stamp that I will call Beautiful hair. I did have fun with this image . The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is DCWV sweet stack. Three strips were cut at 1.5 in strips and glued to the base. I printed the image onto neenah cs and cut it out with a spellbinders die. The background is coloured with SU chalks. bashful blue, mellow moss, pretty in pink. The image is coloured with copic markers. E00,000,11,31,33,35,37, R20,81, V01,12. I added a butterfly to the top left corner and added 3 pearls in the center. Pearls were also added into the girls hair. I took some flowers from my stash and added them to the right side. The white, yellow flower and the leaves were cut with the cricut and flower shoppe cartridge. I then rolled them to make the flowers. The small leaves are from MS leaves border punch using SU old olive paper. I added some glitter to the butterfly and the flowers. I hope you enjoyed my creation and that it gave you some inspiration to try something new.

Hi everyone,

Aurora Wings has started there new blog challenge March 17th. I am using the sisterhood digi that she has offered for the challenge. I had a lot of fun coloring this digi. I printed the image onto neenah cs. I used mixed media, copic markers for the skin/eyes and water color for the rest of the image. Copic markers used- E00,000,11,21 R20. Y13, E37. SU ink soft grey, more mustard, creamy caramel. I didn't use a lot of colors but I think it gave the image a lot of dimension.

DSP is from momenta 8x8 stack. I added a narrow ribbon at the top then layered the image over that. The Yellow swirl is memory box magic swirl die cut. The leaves leaves are from SU leaves edge-let die. The larger leaves are from an older ek success punch I got from my mother but still works great. The roses are done using the spellbinders blossom die, and then rolling them to make the roses. I added a bit of glue just dotting over the roses and sprinkling on the glitter. I used a small ek success flower punch for the little flowers. I put them on a soft pad and used the end of my paper piercer to give them a bit more dimension. I adding some gems in the centers. The top corner on the image is from using a corner die from kwikuts.
I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

A new challenge for a new year over at Lacy Sunshine challenge Blog. I am using this adorable image called  Frolic and Friends. I have printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copics. E00,000,21,37,35,31 B12,14, G40 R81,83,20, BV 00,1,2, Y26,15,13 airbrushed YG61,63 B12. I decided then that the card would be gorgeous as an easel card. I cut the image with spellbinders grand scallop ovals using two different sizes. The card base is neenah cs. The scallop oval for the card base us the larger size up so it has a border around it. The DSP is a gcd paper pack also cut with the scallop oval. The leaves are cut with SU old olive cs and the SU leaves die. I have a small flower punch that I used on the same DSP and added the 3 flowers with small pearls in the center. The sentiment is from Stampology border stamp set and stamped with marina mist SU ink.  I added 2 brads on each end. I hope you enjoyed.
