Hi everyone,

Here is another super cute Christmas card. Our sponsor for the Fairies In Time challenge is Whoopsi Daisy. The card base is neenah cs. I used a Hidi Swapp background stamp on the front of the base card. There is no name so I will call it a music sheet bg. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copics following the colors from the colored image. E00,000, YR21,21. BG10,11, RV01, R27,29, N0,0,4,6. I layered the image onto SU bashful blue cs. I distressed the background using blue pan pastel.. I punched out some leaves using MS punch. I then added three leaves together and added red rhinestones in the middle for berries and one on the top right. The red ribbon is from my stash. I used glitter on the white parts in the background. The glitter doesn't seem to show in picture but it is really pretty.
I will enter this card into this challange.

Hi everyone

On 613 Avenue Create today our optional theme is candy. I am using this cute image garden 13. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E31,35,37,  N2,  R29, Y21,23. The bird candy is jut a cone and the end of my copic made the dots for the candy. I used N2 to make the chain. The leaves in the background is SU a touch o nature using the olive green ink. The card base is bazil cs in mustard color. The DSP is from a 6x6 card pad called moments. I then used a MS border punch on the bottom of the cs. The yellow ribbon is MS and it just would not go into to a bow so I ended up making a knot. The orange enamel do is one I made using the clear pony beads. I hope you have enjoyed my take on the theme candy.

Hi everyone,

We are starting a new monthly challenge at Fairies In Time today. I hope you will feel inspired to join us in the challenge. The theme this month think pink.
Todays card image is called fashion gal chanelle. I printed it on neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E 000,00,21, R20,81,83,85, I fussy cut her out and layered the card with DSP unknown and then added a small doily. It has sparkles on the doily using sukura clear glitter pen. The flowers were punched with a small flower punch using the same DSP. I colored the pearls in the center with R83. The butterfly was punched with a small MS punch. The sentiment is from my word program. I cut a notch from one end and added a few dots around it to make it not fade into the back ground. I wish I had of done the same with the doily. The ribbon is seam binding from SU made into a bow and then a small brad was added with glue dots.

Turtle Christmas Globe

Hi everyone,

We are having really hot weather here so I haven't been going out unless I have to. I take the dog for a walk around 8:30 in the evening and it is so enjoyable to walk then.

I went to an estate sale a month or so ago and picked up some cotman and acadmey water color tubes. Some didn't have a lot in it but I was lucky enough that they just gave them to me.
there was a lot in a shoe container. I have just gotten around to putting them in a pallet, I made up a chart so I could see what the colors look like when put on watercolor paper. I really like the vibrancy of the colors. I also got quite a large sunflower stamp for $.50. I think I did alright and I was very pleased with them.

I decided to make a card tonight and used this cute Lacy Sunshine image called Shelly C Turtle. She is just so cute. It also comes with the 3D items if you want to use them. I Printed the image onto neenah cs and decided to use watercolors. I taped the image down good to keep it from warping too much. I used a Heidi Swapp stencil to put all the little dots in around the turtle. I had cut out the candy cane and the holly berries but I lost the berries so I only popped up the candy cane with foam dots. I then used the sizzix circle dies and cut out the image. I then though it would be cute if I made it look like a globe card. I cut two more larger circles and scored one .5 inches and glued the two together. I found a really cute DSP to put behind my front piece from DCWV painted petals stack. I added sequins for more sparke. I also used a lot of wink of stella on the image. It is a Christmas card so we need lots of glitter. I made a double bow using CTMH seam binding ribbon. To make the globe base on the bottom I used a MS border punch and glued it to the bottom. It didn't stand well being round so I trimmed off the a piece on the bottom to straighten it. I didn't cut it right and it was wonky. So I took another piece of the border punch and glued it over the first one. It just gives it a lacier look. I hope I have given you some inspiration to come up with some new ideas.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

A Cup Of Joy

Hi everyone,

This adorable image is from Deedee Digital Designs. You will find this Digi here in the store along with lots more wonderful images and sentiments. The image I have used today is called Cup of joy. I used the pre colored image today and dressed it up a bit. The base of the card is neenah white cs. The layer I have used is SU daffodil delight. I really like this color and it goes so well with this image. I used a flower embossing folder to emboss the background. I printed the image onto neenah cs and layered it to the daffodil cs. I added some wink of stella on the card and a little on the rest of the image. I then added the birthday sentiment that is also inclued in the image at the bottom of the card. I added two small recollection punched flowers on each side of the sentiment. I added a small purple circle useing sakura glitter pen. I then decided it would be cute to add some embossed balloons at the top using MS punch. I used the sukura pen to write around the embossed area. I drew a line into the bouquet so the balloons were floating. I used SU gorgeous grunge stamp set to put the small dots in the background. These images are amazing to work with so please stop by the store and see all of Deedees wonderful art work. Deedee also has a challenge blog here so I do hope you will join in.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Life's A Beach

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news.

I have been so excited to tell you all that I have been accepted as a new DT member on Deedee's Digi Design's.

I first came across Deedee's Digi Designs Challenge when I was going through Paper Playful challenges a few months ago looking for a challenge to enter my card into. I checked it out and thought how cute and adorable are these images. It is a challange of the month so I do hope you will check it out and join in on the challenge. I love the digis  and started playing in the challenge.

Deedee had a recent DT call so I tried out for the team. I was so thrilled to have been one of the few that were chosen for this term.

June challenge of the month didi is using Life's a Beach set.
The challenge starts today. I thought it was fitting to make a card with this months digi.

The card base is SU yellow. The DSP is from DCWV. I cut two pieces and used MS border punch. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers.  R81,83, Y15,21,23, N2,4,6, B12,14.  I have a very lite pink in the spectrum noir that I have used on the nose. The top part of the image I have used a mask for the clouds and filled the background with bashful blue SU chalk. On the bathing suit I decided it needed something extra so I took a white sukura gel pen and made the polka dots. I then layered a piece of black behind the image. I also rounded the corners on the image and layer. The sentiment is from the same set. Such a cute sentiment. I punched it our with the SU scalloped oval. I cut two more out of the black cs and cut them in half. I then layered them around the sentiment.  I used flowers from my stash for the right side of the card.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Spring Branch

Hi everyone,

The Fairys Challenge has two sponsors this week. This adorable stamp is from Sami Stamps. I printed it onto neenah cs and water coloured it with distress markers apricot 1,2, honeycomb 1,2,3, picket fence. The leaves were coloured in mowed lawn. I used SU pocket silhouette stamp set for the small leaves in the background using old olive ink. I also chalked the background with SU chalks. pink, blue, orange. I then fussy cut the image out and added it onto another layer of the same image and popped it up with dimensional foam squares.  I had some wire that I had picked up from Micheals store and used it for the tree branch. The sentiment is from my favorite things hand written stamp set. I stamped it onto neenah cs and embossed it with pewter embossing powder. I coloured three white flowers with the apricot distress markers added glue on the top of them and added MS glitter. The pearls and the silver sequins were then added .  My card base is neenah cs. The DSP brown and music note were from DCWV stack. I used to water colour all the time and I got away from using it when I purchaced some copic markers. I love my markers. I don't have a ton but what I do have works for me. It is fun to go back to using some of my favorite techniques. I hope you have enjoyed my card this week and get inspired by doing a favorite technique you like to do.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Here is my entry for the Lacy Sunshine Challenge that started last week. I wanted to make a circle card for this image. The base card is neenah cs and I used three quick-kutz circle die to cut the circles.I really like this die because it has 20 circle dies and the largest is 5.5. So many choices.  I printed the image onto neenah cs before using the die so I would know what size I wanted to use. I colored it with a mix of copic markers E00,000,21,31 Y21,23, V9,15, YG61,63 and cromatix markers. Honeycomb 2&3 and Apricot 11. The cromatix markers are alcohol based from American Crafts. They are a less expensive brand but they blend well together. I didn't have any problem with them. The DSP is also from an American craft pad. I did add some of the cromatix markers on the flower background to bring in the color of the flower pot. I used a MS leaves border punch for the leaves under the pot. I used two recollections small flowers to scatter around the leaves. I had some left over gold dots so I put them in the centers of the flowers. The ribbon is a MS brand. I made the double bow and I don't know how I did it. I have since tried and can not seem to come up with how it was made. I will just keep trying. I added wink of stella onto the bottom flowers and the pearls on the pot.

I will add this card into this challenges.

I added 1 pearl to her earring and a string of pearls top of her ruffle. The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is a left over scrap. I added a satin ribbon and a pearl brad on top. I did add a bit of wink of stella on the flower centers and the left edge of the DSP. I used a sukura glitter pen for the wings. I had some white flowers that I wanted pink so I used some alcohol with a bit of pink liquid food coloring and sprayed them pink. I dabbed a bit of glue over the flowers and added some MS fine glitter. They seem to have a dark shadow in the photo but in the real photo they match the pinks in the card.

Sending Sunshine and Laughter

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor at the Fairys Challenge is Crafty Sentiments Designs I have used this cute little manga girl. I so enjoyed coloring her. I have not colored a manga image before so I wasn't sure I would do it justice. She turned out pretty cute. The card base is neenah cs folded in half. The DSP from Perfect Prints saphire pad. The border of the right had side is neenah cs. I used MS punch around the page diamond circle. To make sure it was even I punched the top, bottom and then the center. It lined up perfectly. The butterflies are from the ek success 3 butterfly punch. I added sukura glitter clear pen in the centers of the butterflies. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,21, 51, Y21,23,26, B12 14, R81,83. V0000,1, YG61,63, W1. The ribbon and bow is MS seam binding. The bottom white flower is from my stash. I used a SU tourquise marker and made faux stitch lines around the image and the card base. It looks like it was a lot of work but it really went quite quickly.  I added sukura glitter pen on her hair band. I will enter this card into these challenges.
