Botanical Blooms Lattice

Hi everyone,

Our weather here today is beautiful this morning. This card has no sentiment as usually I wait until I need one. This one is quite versatile so it could also be used as a wedding card. The card base is a larger 5x7 with a layer of white on top. The card stock was neenah white. I used the SU top note die and cut the center from the layer. I have also used the SU lattice die popping it up with dimensional. The flowers and leaves were done with the SU botanical blooms set. I love this set and find I am using it a lot. I used olive green for the leaves, melon mombo for the flower centers and butterfly layer. The butterfly was punched using ek success layering punch.  A very simple but gorgeous card for any occasion. I will enter this card into these challenges,

Made For Each Other

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor at 613 Ave Create this week is Dr Digi's House of Stamps. The theme is anything goes no twist. I saw this cute image and decided this is the one I would do and send it to my grandson for Halloween. AT least doing it in May I won/'t have to worry about getting it done. This image is called made for each other. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. G40,24, BV 15,17, YR, 21,23,24, N2,4,6,8, W1,3. I used a wink of stella to add some sparkle on the bolts, lips, and the streak in her hair. I took my water color paint and watered down some green and purple separate. Then splattered the two different colours of  ink over the image for a confetti look background. Then the image was layered onto recollections black cs. The DSP is also a recollections Halloween stack. I added some twine to match Franks coat and then tied a bow. I then mounted the whole card onto a SU wild wabassi cs. The Boo is made from some small old set of alphabet stamp punches. I added sukura white pen around the letters. I hope you have enjoyed this card and found some inspiration form it.

Hi everyone,

The time has been going by so quickly it is hard to believe it is now May 1st. Spring is just around the corner. Our sponsor this week at The Fairy's Challenge is Star in My Pocket. I am using this cute little image, its a valentine image but its perfect for a Mothers day card. I printed the image onto neeneah cs then cut it with Stampez die frames 5. I colored it with copic markers. E00,000,11, Y23,26, R20,22,24, YG61,63, N2,0. The card base is neenah cs. The DSP is DCWV butterfly pad. I used a Ek success border edge punch for the bottom of the card. I layered a piece of SU pretty in pink in the center of the border to add more of the pink colour. I then added a white satin ribbon and a smaller ribbon with pearls in the center of the bow. I had some coloured enamel dots so I added some of the green and white. I have some silver stars and sequins so I added them to the top right of the image. Lastly I added some wink of stella on parts of the image and the border. I hope you like my card and it will be and inspiration for you.

Hi everyone,

Aurora Wings has started there new blog challenge March 17th. I am using the sisterhood digi that she has offered for the challenge. I had a lot of fun coloring this digi. I printed the image onto neenah cs. I used mixed media, copic markers for the skin/eyes and water color for the rest of the image. Copic markers used- E00,000,11,21 R20. Y13, E37. SU ink soft grey, more mustard, creamy caramel. I didn't use a lot of colors but I think it gave the image a lot of dimension.

DSP is from momenta 8x8 stack. I added a narrow ribbon at the top then layered the image over that. The Yellow swirl is memory box magic swirl die cut. The leaves leaves are from SU leaves edge-let die. The larger leaves are from an older ek success punch I got from my mother but still works great. The roses are done using the spellbinders blossom die, and then rolling them to make the roses. I added a bit of glue just dotting over the roses and sprinkling on the glitter. I used a small ek success flower punch for the little flowers. I put them on a soft pad and used the end of my paper piercer to give them a bit more dimension. I adding some gems in the centers. The top corner on the image is from using a corner die from kwikuts.
I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I have not colored a manga image before so I wasn't sure I would do it justice. She turned out pretty cute. The card base is neenah cs folded in half. The DSP from Perfect Prints saphire pad. The border of the right had side is neenah cs. I used MS punch around the page diamond circle. To make sure it was even I punched the top, bottom and then the center. It lined up perfectly. The butterflies are from the ek success 3 butterfly punch. I added sukura glitter clear pen in the centers of the butterflies. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,21, 51, Y21,23,26, B12 14, R81,83. V0000,1, YG61,63, W1. The ribbon and bow is MS seam binding. The bottom white flower is from my stash.
