Warm Fall Wishes Shaker Card

Hi everyone,
Here is my DT project for this month on Deedee's Digis. This set is called Fall Warm-up. I printed the image onto neenah cs. The base card is Recollections brown cs cut at 4.25x 11 on the long side. I decided on a shaker card. The size is 4x4 and I added 2 layers of foam then added the glitter and rhinestones. I should have added powder before I glued the clear plastic on the top. The glitter is sticking to the plastic. The top layer is a sizzix frame die cut using the big shot using Recollections DSP .  I have distressed the edges of the frame. I added a small orange ribbon from my stash that seems to go well with the leaf in the top left corner. I added a small knot as the bow. The sentiment is also from the fall warm up set cut with SU modern label punch.

Blue Fae

Hi everyone,

Here is my second card for our challenge on 613 Ave Create using Fitztown fae 38. I made a video of the coloring of the card and putting the card together. The section of putting the card together didn't turn out. Being so new at making the videos I have no idea why it did not work. Here is the link to the video. The copic markers I used  were E11,00,0000,35,51, B21,23, R20, SNoir TB1, SU close to cocoa marker. I added some sukura glitter pen to the wings. The card Card base is neenah cs with a layer of SU bashful blue over top. I added a 4" doily cut in half then layered a piece of vanilla cs. I stamped the vanilla cs with hero arts background in bashful blue and then used the matching embossing folder. I used dimentionals on the back and popped it up a bit wonky. I added a CTMH ribbon bow and some pearls. The flowers were made using SU petite petal stamp and matching punch. I colored them in with B21, Y21. The leaves were cut using SU olive green using the blossoms punch. I hope you have enjoyed this card.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Thank you so much for stopping by, happy creating and have a fabulous day!

Sparkle and Shine Birthday

Hi everyone,

We had a couple of days of rain here and it was nice to have it cool down some. The weather is hot today but not over whelming. We have a few sponsors this week on 613 Ave Create. This card is from the Paper Shelter and the name of the digi is Rose. I printed her and the pre colored background onto neenah cs and colored the image with copic markers. I then fussy cut around her but it looked a bit messy with the curls on her hair so I cut them off. I like the look so I used a stampin' dimensional and popped her onto the front of the card. I added glitter on the butterfly and a few of the flowers. I added a white satin bow and then a sequin and finally a small heart on th
top. Three more of the sequins were added to the left hand side of the card. I stamped the sentiment using two stamp sets. The hello is HeroArtsC1342 and the birthday is from SU teeny tiny wishes using memento black ink.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I have a new card to share with you from Deedee's Digis. You will find this digi here. These didis are fun to use. You will get the pre colored image as well as the line drawing. You can find the Challenge blog here.

You can purchase this month's featured set for just $1.25 in our shop. If you participated in last month's challenge, you should have already received this set in your email. (If you participated but didn't receive the set, please contact us -- sometimes things do go wrong with email).

The card base is neenah cs folded the long way.    This image is pre colored onto neenah cs and adding the sentiment. Don't you just love the font on this sentiment. I then added the navy blue border around the image before printing it all. One it was printed I took my recollections small snowflake punch and punched quite a few and scattered them around the card. I can not have a Christmas card without some glitter. I used the sukura glitter pen and added it to all of the snowflakes. I hope you will join in on our challege and try out some of the wonderful images.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Ice Day!

Hi everyone,

I hope all of my Canadian peeps had a great Canada day. It was quiet around here and very relaxing. In the afternoon I did some cleaning and organizing in my craft room. I didn't get it all finished so today I will try and get in there and finish it up. The room is small and so crowded. I have too many crafts and not enough room to have the supplies all in the open. I am not ready to give any of them up yet so it is an on going thing (organizing that is).

Well on to today's project. I have made a super cute card from Deedees Digital images. These images are amazing to work with so please stop by the store and see all of Deedees wonderful art work. Deedee also has a monthly challenge blog here so I do hope you will join in.

You will find this Digi here in the store along with lots more wonderful images and sentiments. July's image  is called So cool. Wouldn't this make some really cute cards and scrapbook pages?

You can purchase this month's featured set for just $1.25 in Deedee's shop. If you participated in last month's challenge, you should have already received this set in your email. (If you participated but didn't receive the set, please contact us -- sometimes things do go wrong with email).

For the base of the card I used Recollections black and cut two pieces of the card stock with spellbinders grand scallop oval die using the second to smallest of the dies. I then scored one of them at .5 and glued them together to make the base of my card. I printed the penguin onto neenah card stock and cut it with the smallest die to layer. I colored the image with copic markers. N0,2,4,6,8 R05, I also used the 05 around the edge of the layer. I added white stitching around both the base and layer and then put in some sequins.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Starting a new challenge at the Fairy's challenge blog. Our second sponsor is Time For Tea Designs. I printed the image onto neenah cs and the used the spellbinders labels 6 die to cut the image out. I also cut recollections black to layer with the image. I have used copic markers to colour in the image. E00,000,21,31,35,51, YR21,24, Y21, R20,83, YG63, W1,3. I used an embossing folder called geometric rings on the base of the card with  SU daffodil cs. I added the black layer with dimensional and the image onto the black. I had some black ribbon with silver so I added a piece to the top and the bottom. I added the bow on the top right. I punched our a small butterfly using the MS punch. I then used the wink of stella pen and went around both frame edges, the flowers, butterfly and the shoes. I grounded her with W1,3 copic markers. Last I used a few of the sequins. I hope you have enjoyed this card and found something that will inspire you.

Thank you for stopping by, happy creating and have a blessed day!

Hi everyone,

I am really pleased and honored to be asked as a guest designer on Through The Craft Room Door. I am using this cute stamp from Sandy Huggett sandyssamples stamp. I printed the image onto neeneah card stock and cut it out with Shapez frames 2. I colored the image background with SU chalks. The image was colored with copic markers. YG61,63, Y23,26, R 20,22,24. The card base is neenah cs and the green layer is from recollections habitat stack. The pink layer is from Ki pad and they were both cut from spellbinders grand scalloped rectangles. The top two layers were added with dimentional foam. The only embellishments added were the pearls. I didn't think it needed anything else.

Thank you for stopping by, have a blessed and happy day!

Emmilou Boo

Hi everyone,

We had a couple of very hot days and today it is rainy and cool again. I have to say I rather like it a bit cooler than too hot. I do like the nicer days so I can do my walk. On to my card. I tried to make a video of this card but my camera kept cutting out. So it wasn't much of a video. I will try again.

My card base is neenah white cs that I cut with SU framelet frames. The second cut next to the large on I cut the DSP from GDS paper pad. I used distress ink around the edges. The topper is a precoloured page that I printed from a Joanna Sheen CD that I have. I needed it to have more tourquise in it so I coloured the ribbon on the hat, the trim around the inside border and the chair cushions. This adorable stamp is called Emmilou Boo Inchworm by Lacy Sunshine. I printed it onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,11,31,35,51, R20,81,83,85, BG10,11,13,15, YG63. I popped her onto the card using foam dimentional's from SU. The Hi There sentiment is from My Favorite Things handwritten words. I added wink of stella on the ribbon on the hat, border around the image, hair bow, buttons and the ribbons on her PJ bottoms.

I will add this card into this challenge.

I colored it with copic markers. E00,000,11, Y23,26, R20,22,24, YG61,63, N2,0. The card base is neenah cs. The DSP is DCWV butterfly pad. I used a Ek success border edge punch for the bottom of the card. I layered a piece of SU pretty in pink in the center of the border to add more of the pink colour. I then added a white satin ribbon and a smaller ribbon with pearls in the center of the bow. I had some coloured enamel dots so I added some of the green and white. I have some silver stars and sequins so I added them to the top right of the image. Lastly I added some wink of stella on parts of the image and the border. Hi everyone,

Our sponsor at 613 Ave Create this week is Limited Runs and I have used Molly. The theme this week is to use your country colors. I am from Canada so its red and white.  I have printed her onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,11,21,31,35 Red 20,22,24,27, W1. The base card is neenah cs. I used a Recollections Valentine stamp border for the bottom of the card. I then punched out some small hearts with MS heart punch. I then added a DSP from a Christmas pack I had in my stash. I layered the image onto SU real red cs then poped it onto the card with dimensional. I die cut the leaves with the SU edge-lets and embossed them with iridescent embossing powder to give it sparkle. The flowers were made with a small recollections flower punch and pearls were added to the centers. I added a SU white ribbon added a small heart with a pearl in the center. I also added a few more small hearts to the image. I finished it off with some faux stitching around the edge of the card.  I will enter this card into these challenges.

Pin ItHi everyone,

Over at 613 Ave Create our sponsor is Aurora Wings. When I first saw this image I really wanted to color it. The name is Red Poppies. It took me some time to do the coloring but I am pleased with the finished look. The card base is black textured AC cs. Then a layer of SU real red cs. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,21,37,5,31, R27,24,22,20, YG 61,63, N2,4,6. The flourish around the image is SU baroque motifs stamped with old olive ink. I added some pearls on the top left and bottom right of the image. I then took some small white roses and added two on the top left and 1 on the bottom right. I wanted a lacy look. Across the bottom of the image I punched out a flower border using an ek success punch.

Hi everyone,

When I saw this image I really had to have it. I made the card for my mother for Valentines day. She will love it. The base of the card and the image was printed on is neenah cs. I used a sizzix die to  cut the image and removed all the little piece except the middle one. The red cs is from SU called real red. I colored the image with copic markers. E00,000,21.37,31,50, YG61,63,03, R20,22,24,27, N0,2, I added some MS glitter . The pearls were added around her skirt, glasses and on the bows in her hair. The lovely ribbon bow was add and then I added some hearts around the image. The larger heart at the top was added to hide a boo boo. Yes we all make mistakes but some are easier to fix than others. :-}
