Masculine Birthday

I am back with a masculine card for you this time. I wanted to do another scenery card. I used the set In the Meadow for the mountains and the front trees on the left of the card. I drew a few very small trees in the background the the pine trees in the front is from the set noble deer. the lake and sky is colored with soft sky. I also added a small waterfall for more interest. The three deer are also from noble deer stamp. I created this card awhile ago but didn't get it up loaded so I am not sure of the colors I used. I am going to add this card this challenge

Glittery Snowflake

Hi everyone,
I am doing some Christmas cards lately.  I have been busy and need to start putting them up on my blog.  This was a fun card to create. The card base is neenah white cs cut at 7 x 10 and folded to make a 5 x 7 card.  I used SU real red card stock for the top layer. I used the SU lacy border punch and punched out a border on each side of the top layer. It left a solid piece in the center of the card stock. It was glued onto the card base. I used the neenah cs for the circle using Q-kuts die. I cut 2 banners using the spellbinders die. They were layered onto the circle. The snowflake was a cut that I had in my stash. I punched a hole in the banners and added a red ribbon and tied a bow. The sentiment is also neenah  card stock. I then added a sentiment. I am not sure what stamp set I used. The red sequins were added randomly. I really liked how this card turned out.

I will add this card into  the

Christmas Wishes

Hi everyone,

Well as you can tell it is that time of year to start the Christmas cards. I need to make quite a few so here is my first this year. I am using a finished card  base that is 5 x 5. The green layer is SU mossy meadow  4.75 x 4.75 and the white layer on top is 4 x 4. I have used a stamp set called oriental Pine. I love the pine needles. I stamped them in mossy meadow ink. I then added the ornament from the set and stamped it with pacific point ink. I then re-stamped it with versa mark and embossed it with wow glitter powder. As usual the photo does not do it justice.  The bow on top of the ornament has  glitter. The sentiment was straight across but it didn't suit my needs so I cut it between the two words. I can put them together as one word if I need to. The pine cones are a spellbinders die. I used kraft card stock to cut them out and used distress inks to darken the edges. They are popped up with dimentional's. I will add my card into this challenge.

Birthday Wishes

I think the set is called layering butterflies

Hello everyone,

School has started here so there is lots of activity in the stores. I stayed home and created some cards. The above finished card is a 5.5 x 5.5 . I added an embossing border  around the edges and then layered neenah card stock layer that I used a grey distress ink for more interest and to make it pop. I embossed the layer with SU butterfly folder. The stripes are a silver washi tape and I added two pieces to the center and used one for the banner. The thread in the center is silver twisted around my hand to make the circles. The top butterfly is stamped in perfect plum and the bottom on in pretty in pink. I colored the pearls to match the butterflies. I cut a banner in neenah white and stamped birthday wishes from another stamp set and added more pearls.

I would like to add this card in the challenge

Field Flowers

Hi everyone,

I have been making cards but just not enough time to get them uploaded. Here is a beautiful stamp set from Stampin' up called Field Flowers now retired. My card base is neenah card stock cut at 10 x 7 folded in half to make a 5 x 7 card, I used a white layer overlay that I cut with my cricut machine. I then use a SU die called frame-lets label collection. I cut one layer in pacific point  and a smaller layer in neenah white cs. The flowers are stamped in marina mist for the first layer and pacific ponit for the second layer. The leaves and stems were stamped in olive green ink. I cut the flowers out and layered them on the card with dimensional dots. I used the butterflies die from SU for the butterfly and added a small button in the center. I will enter this card into this challenge

In Sympathy

Hi everyone,

I have needed some sympathy lately and like everyone else it is very hard to create them. I seen a card on Pinterest similar to this one and though I would case it. Its very lovely and easy to make up. I am sorry but I don't remember the persons name that I cased it from.

The card base is neenah cs folded to 4.25 X5,5.I took one of my embossing folders and embossed the front layer only using my big shot machine.  I used a layer of Neenah white to stamp the SU pocket silhouette leaves. I used the stamp full strength and stamped off onto the white spaces between using  SU black ink. For the sentiment I have used the large scalloped oval punch. The white layer is neenah cs and punched out with the large oval. The sentiment is from the SU Thoughts and prayers set. I punched the small flower in black added a sm rhinestone to the center to finish off the front of the card. The inside has a beautiful sentiment. I made a few of the cards to have on hand as you never know when they will be needed.
I will add this card to this challange

Botanical Blooms Lattice

Hi everyone,

Our weather here today is beautiful this morning. This card has no sentiment as usually I wait until I need one. This one is quite versatile so it could also be used as a wedding card. The card base is a larger 5x7 with a layer of white on top. The card stock was neenah white. I used the SU top note die and cut the center from the layer. I have also used the SU lattice die popping it up with dimensional. The flowers and leaves were done with the SU botanical blooms set. I love this set and find I am using it a lot. I used olive green for the leaves, melon mombo for the flower centers and butterfly layer. The butterfly was punched using ek success layering punch.  A very simple but gorgeous card for any occasion. I will enter this card into these challenges,

Adorable Teddy

Hi everyone,

This adorable card is using the Crafter;s Companion Bear. I made three in different colors but this grey bear is my favorite. The bear was stamped onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers.
copics: N0,2,4, R61,63, YG63.67.  I die cut the image using my sizzix circles and an open scallop circle to layer under the image. I used glimmer silver cs from recollection. Its a lovely thicker cs. The circles were all layered with dimensional's  onto 5.5 sq neenah white cs. I used the SU lacy border punch with the silver and cut two borders one for the top and one for the bottom of the cs. I have seen a lot of thee thin cirlcle cuts so decided to use my program make the cut and created a thin circle and duplicated it two more times and welded all three together to make one. I cut it using my expression and a glitter pink/purple ombre glitter cs. I am very pleased at how it turned out. They don;t look as thin as the die cut ones but I am still pleased. I am going to use the card as either a birthday or baby card. I am putting this card into this challenge.

Fabulous Flamingo!

Hi everyone,
I am still creating cards but life is busy right now. Family comes first so that does keep me going. I have created this card and decided to add it to some challenges this week. The stamp is from Stupendous called what else Flamingo.

The  card base is 5 x 7  ready made White cs. I Then cut a layer 4.5 x 6.5 and stamped the background with SU botanical blooms using old olive ink. I then cut a mellon mombo shape using a die from SU. I used an embossing folder on the layer and for the image I also used the next smallest shape after I colored the image. To color I used stampin' up markers mellon mombo, peach parfait and blushing bride for the flamingo. The water was soft sky, and the foliage is old olive and pear pzazz. I added a small dragon fly from an older set (2007) from Crafty Secrets. The feathers were stamped using ART-C   No name on the package so they are just feathers.  I added two gold banners at the top, a melon mombo bow and glittered the feathers and wings. I love painting birds of all kinds so when I seen this stamp I had to buy it. I will add this card into these challenges,

The stamp sets I used are SU Work of art and the butterflies are by Art Company that comes with five butterflies and dies to match. I used SU ink pads soft sky and pretty in Pink.  I added pearls in the center of the butterflies. Its a soft and lovely card for a teen. I will add this card into this challenge.

Decorated Box

Hi everyone,

It is so sunny out side today so I will take a long walk with Yogi. He loves getting out for his walks too. Too beautiful to stay inside. I did some stamping last night to make a decoration for my 4x4 box that I created with the WRM box punch board. I used a 9x9 piece of cs unsure of the brand. I then stamped the outside of the box using SU work of art stamp before I put the box together.

I picked up this big shot die at a sale to make these large flower decorations to use on my boxes. Changing the color of the flowers work for most occations. I used the largest of the dies and cut them down to make more leaves. The die is from stampin up called bigz L Funflowers. I think its the perfect size. I used the 2 smallest flowers and cut in white cs. I sponged it with  SU pretty in pink ink. I then used the pretty in pink marker to color the center and petals. The center is pretty in pink and die cut with SU botanical blooms die. The leaves were also cut from the same die. I am going to enter this project into the

Butterfly Anniversary

Hi everyone,

I know I haven't posted much lately but I will try and do better. The base card is pacific point with a layer of white on the inside and a top layer on the out. I put the outer front layer into an embossing folder and then swiped a silver ink pad gently over the top to bring out the pattern. I have used a SU stamp called watercolor wings for the butterfly. Its a two step stamp. I used black, marina mist stamped off once and then again full strength. The fancy butterfly is also from SU called buttertfly thinlets. I die cut the butterfly with my big shot. I added lots of silver glitter for sparkle and shine. The sentiment is so lovely  from an older SU set called Dreams DeJour. The ribbon was added three times and then I added a bow. Ribbon is also SU.  I gave this card to some friends for their tenth Anniversary.
I will add this card to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge.

Masculine Birthday

Hi everyone,

We have sunshine today but cool. Today's card is using the SU By the Tide set. What a great set for masculine cards. The base is staples 110 cs. I decided to review it and it is fabulous and very sturdy. I used my Micheal half price coupon. It is smooth and stamps well. The top layer is a basil CS. I have used most of the stamps in the set for the background using archival black ink.  The 2nd layer is staples 65 lb cs. I used the block by adding the ink on the block and spritzed with water. That was a hard part for me, I have OCD with the messy look but  just kept going even when I wanted to start over. Then I stamped  images of the sea horse one on white the other on velum. I also stamped the circle stamp on the layer. The velum was stamped with chocolate brown and turned it to the backside and popped up with dimentionals. The banner is a scrap piece and the stamp used is SU Well Scripted. I put the card together but still not sure I like it.  I have decided to leave it up to you people my lovely followers to help me with the decision.

Thank you for stopping in and have a fabulous fun day!

Lotus Blossoms

Hi Everyone
I hope your all having a wonderful day. I decided to make a birthday card for a friend. This gorgeous stamp is from SU and its called Lotus Blossom. I love it but it did take a bit of practice on my part getting them to line up properly. I should say a lot of practice it was not coming together easily for me. Finally got it and I love it! The card base is SU old olive and the layer is whisper white. I only used one ink and stamped off with real red. The third stamp off really didn't show a lot abut it was effective enough for me. I had some small flowers in my stash so added them and decided it would look cute with a feather. It doesn't show much but it is there. I added a few of the gorgeous grunge little dots and a butterfly to finish the card off. I will add this card to these challenges

Dragonfly on vine

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Mine was good but I did get some bad news from my brother, He has cancer and struggled with it for the past three years. The Dr. has now given him 1-6 weeks to live. Our family prays for him daily. If you would like to join in and pray for him we would be so grateful. Thank you!

I have two cards for you today with the same stamp and design. The base of the cards su blue and grey are 4 .25 x 11, scored at 5.5 and folded in half. I used the su shimmer cs and used a spellbinder largest die called floral ovals. I then stamped the dragonfly a bit to the left. Ome in SU pacific point ink and one in basic grey. I decided it would look great if dry embossed so I used a new folder I picked up by lifestyle crafts called bloom. I stamped the background for the card base using gorgeous grunge in the pacific point and the dark grey for the bottom card. I used a cherry lane die for a flourish under the oval layers. Using dimensional foam dots I popped both cards ovals to the base. I cut out five very small flowers with an old punch I have had for years and added them to the top and bottoms of the cards. I then added some rhinestones to the centers.

Thank you for joining me today and I hope you like my cards. Have a fabulous and crafty day!
