Let's Celebrate

Hi everyone,
Today our sponsor at the Fairy;s Challenge is Rick St Dennis. I am using this cute Angel that I printed onto neenah cs and coloured with copic markers. E000,00,21,31,35,37, Y13,BG10,13,W1. I added glitter to all of the stars. I used put some clouds in the background behind the angel but it doesn't show much.  The card base is from SU and the DSP is from a 6x6 paper stack by GCD Studios called Chaleston. I really like the this soft colours in this pack. The pink polka dots is the opposite side of the yellow DSP I have used. The flower brad is from SU and it was in a package that I won from Jo's Scrap Shack. I didnt realize at first that is was SU but I just love these brads. I punched a small circle from the polka dots and added it to the centre. The ribbon is from my stash. I used sukura yellow sparkle faux stitching around the angel border and white around the card base. The celebrate is from Fancy Flexible Phrases by SU.

Hi everyone,

Todays our sponsor at 613 Avenue Create is The Paper Shelter. Her images are just so cute. I printed the image onto neenah cs and coloured it with copic markers. N0,R20,81.B12,14. I also added the N0 over the pink mice to tone down the brightness. All of the papers are from DCWV pet stack. I added a layer of Dark yellow behind the image to make a frame. I cut 2 1inch pieces of the same color and used MS border punch for the top and bottom of the image. I added 2 banners from the same papers used.  The butterfly was punched from a eksuccess punch. The last was a blue twine made into a small bow. I like how the colours all came together. I will add this into these challenges.

Thank you Swing Card

Hi everyone,

I am sharing with you today at She's a Sassy Lady blog. Thank you for allowing me to share with you and your friends Shelia.

I wanted to make a special gift and card for my sister in-law for pet sitting for me when I went to my grandsons wedding. I decided to make a box of hand made cards for her and this beautiful card to go with it. Sorry I didn't take a picture of the box before I gave them to her.

The card stock is brazil textured. I went with a swing card. I haven't made to many of them so this one is quite simple. On the top and bottom edges I used a wheel stamp from SU but I have unmounted my stamps. I just find it a bit easier to control with a block than with a wheel. I used a grey SU ink pad.

I then added dcwv pattern paper. I took a white rectangle to layer on top of the pattern paper. I used a MS corner flower punch on the corners. I did some faux stitching in sukura pink pen on the card base and the white layer. I added the thank you stamp also from SU.

I had some daisies and the pink flower in  my stash. I added two of the daisies on to the back panel with another SU Thank you. The tag on the right also has thank you on it. My sister in-law was just thrilled with her gift. I have made a few boxed card gifts for family and friends and they just love them. I have one friend that just can't give hers away. She says they are just too special. It sure makes me feel good when they fuss over what I have made for them.

Let's Have a Picnic

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor this week at the Fairy's Challenges is Shelly's Design stamps. I had so much fun creating this card using 9 of her digi images. I used Word to create the design and printed it off onto neena cs and colored it with copic markers. I then cut around the image so I could use two different DSP. The card was busy enough withour putting in too many elements so all I added was the daisy flowers. I will add this card into these challenges.

Stamps - My Grafico
Papers - neenah white, DCWV DSP flower stack.
Ink - printer, copic E31,33,35, R20,22,24, B12,14, Y23,19, N8, G40,
Accessories - daisy's from stash

Miss Chrysanthemum

Hi everyone,

The weather here is still so hot that I am not venturing out much until evening.  Our second sponsor this week is Beccy's Place. I am using this cut little girl called Chrysanthemum. I printed her onto neenah solor white cs and colored her in copic markers. E00,000,21,R20,81,83, G14. I used a 6x6 paper stack from american crafts. I cut two different papers at 4x5.25 and then cut them in half twice. I decided to use an embossing folder on them, inked around the edges with brown ink. I added a solid color of DCWV solid green on top of the white card base. I fussy cut around the image and propped her up with dimentionals onto another pink layer. On the corners of the layer I used a fleur delis punch. I added a small banner the same colour as the brown cs. The flowers are from my stash and ribbon is from MS. I will enter this card into these challenges.

A Gem of a Challenge- use two backing papers
