Hi everyone,

We have another challenge starting today on 613 Ave Create. Our sponsor is Fitztown. I'm using this butterfly image called Fae 18.  I had colored it with copic marker but decided I didn't like it so I   add glitter over top. I used white and yellow MS glitter. The card base is recollections black at 4.25 x 11 then folded in half at 5.5. The yellow layer is staples vanilla cs. Its is embossed using the SU vintage wallpaper folder. I then used distressed black ink to color the raised areas of the embossing. The ribbon is from my stash. To finish the card I used silver sequins. I added the sentiment inspire by inkadinkadoo #11 with stazon black  onto the bitty banner die from SU. I then used distress yellow to go over the tag a little. I hope you will feel inspired to make a project and join our challenge.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

My 2013 Christmas Cards

Hi everyone,

It's the first Wednesday in December and my turn to share with you She's a Sassy Lady today.Thank you Shelia for letting me join you to show everyone what I have been creating.

I thought I would share with you the Christmas cards I made to send out this year. I don/t have as many as Sheila has to give but 50 plus is still a fair amount. These will be perfect to send to in the mail.
I found some beautiful shimmery card stock at Mickeals from Recollections called Christmas Noel Navidad. It has such a beautiful backdrop and I thought it would make quick cards. I added SU reindeer and sentiment, SU lovely as a tree stamps. Just Rite Ornament stamp and sentiment, and Inkadindadoo. I mounted the front panels onto the plain shimmery cs. I was so pleased that the ink didn't smear. I was worried it might being shimmery and all. They are more beautiful in person than in the photo. It didn't take me long to get them all done and now all I need to do is get them in their envelopes and in the mail. If you have a lot of cards to mail this is the way to go. Hope you all enjoyed.

Thank you for dropping by, happy creating!
