Dreams Come True Fairy

Hi everyone,

I started to make this card this  morning but stopped for a bit and help a friend do a bridal bouquet. It turned out lovely and we had a great time doing it. I then went to finish my card. I have used crafters companion flower fairy from one of their CD's on my card today.

I printed it off onto neenah white cs. The card base is Staples 100 lb vanilla cs and fussy cut  around the images. It is done in 3d. I have added wink of stella on the fairy, butterfly, and the MS border punch. The DSP is American Craft 6x6 paper pad from Local Winners store.  I placed a small doily cut in half under the image. The doily is from Micheal store. The sentiment is from my favorite thinks called essential sentiments from SSS. I used the MS stamp press that was also in my SSS order. Its a great stamp set that is done in hand writing. Lastly I used 3 buttons.

It will make a great birthday card. I will add this card into these challenges.

The two strips on each side is also from the star border punch. I added  some glitter to the stars. The little bow in her head is twine. On the inside of the card I added a scallop rectangle and punched some stars to keep with the theme. I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Aurora Wings has started there new blog challenge March 17th. I am using the sisterhood digi that she has offered for the challenge. I had a lot of fun coloring this digi. I printed the image onto neenah cs. I used mixed media, copic markers for the skin/eyes and water color for the rest of the image. Copic markers used- E00,000,11,21 R20. Y13, E37. SU ink soft grey, more mustard, creamy caramel. I didn't use a lot of colors but I think it gave the image a lot of dimension.

DSP is from momenta 8x8 stack. I added a narrow ribbon at the top then layered the image over that. The Yellow swirl is memory box magic swirl die cut. The leaves leaves are from SU leaves edge-let die. The larger leaves are from an older ek success punch I got from my mother but still works great. The roses are done using the spellbinders blossom die, and then rolling them to make the roses. I added a bit of glue just dotting over the roses and sprinkling on the glitter. I used a small ek success flower punch for the little flowers. I put them on a soft pad and used the end of my paper piercer to give them a bit more dimension. I adding some gems in the centers. The top corner on the image is from using a corner die from kwikuts.
I will enter this card into these challenges.

Luck of The Irish

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor at 613 Ave Create this week  is The Stamping Boutique and the theme is use an Irish blessing/saying or quote. When I saw this adorable fairy I could see so many uses for her. Can you imagine using hearts, ornaments, Easter eggs, etc. She is called Daisy fairy and for an Irish theme I wanted four leaf clovers.  I made the leaves big enough to cover the daisy's. The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is from American Crafts Lucky Charms paper pad.  I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E00,000,21, 13,15,18, YG 61,63,67,95. I had this Irish hat clip art so I recolored it with my copics and fussy cut it to make paper layers. I them added green and yellow glitter pen ink from the MS pens. The sentiment is one I printed in MS Word. The lighting needs to be replaced or more added into my craft room. When I choose to used this ribbon it matched my colors beautifully. Well as you can see in the photo it is a different shade. I have it glued down so I wasn't prepared to replace it if I messed up the card. I decided it really didn't look that bad. I will just have to shop for a new light fixture.  I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor at 613 Ave Create this week is Vectoria Designs. I had a hard time trying to decide how I wanted to use the tickets. This is the card I came up with. The card base is recollections kraft. I used the plane background and added distressed  ink. I just wanted to make it a bit darker than was there  to give it more of a vintage look. I did the same to the tickets. I mixed some glitter glue blue and yellow to make green and added it to one of the clovers.I cut 5 half inch circles in black and added white for an embellishment Using SU punch. I wrote the sentiment myself and cut around it with an ek success frame punch. Lastly faux stitching for more interest. I will add this into these challenges.

I Love Copics

Hi everyone,

We had more snow the last few days but it isn't sticking. Thanks goodness. My daughter was going to Kamloops for her job last week and her car spun out of control on black ice on the Kokahalla. She ended up in the meridian. Lucky for her that a trucker saw her and stopped to help. She was pinned in the car but her got her out. She is fine but quite shook up. The trucker told her when he saw the accident she had angels watching over her and he said she was lucky to have survived and had no injuries. I am so thankful she is all right. Winter traveling sucks. Stay safe everyone and don't go out in bad weather if it isn't necessary.

On to my card. I bought this adorable image quite some time ago. I colored it up and didnt make it into a card. I went through my box and decided it was time to finish it. The image is Lacy Sunshine printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,21,26,23. N0, B21,23, BV000,02 YG 61,63. I used a spellbinders die to cut the image out. I used BV01 around the edge of the die cut. I printed the DSP on a silicone baking sheet that I use on my desk top. Its smooth but with still had some texture after I took my paper off. I wasn't sure I liked it. I cut it down and added it to my card and it looked much better. I popped it up with dimensional. The flowers were white and I added some purple alcohol  with a paint brush. The leaves were cut with an old marvy punch that still works great. It was one of my mothers that I inherited.  The paper is SU and distressed with old olive ink pad. I took a marker and added some veins. I cut photo corners with my big shot using a small quickutz photo corner die. I used a sukura glitter pen and faux stitched around the card. I then added some glitter into the holes of the corner die and the heart. I will add this card into these challenges.

The border of the right had side is neenah cs. I used MS punch around the page diamond circle. To make sure it was even I punched the top, bottom and then the center. It lined up perfectly. Hi everyone,

Our sponsor is Imky Impressions and this cute fairy was so much fun to color and design. The card base is neenah cs and I used a spellbinder badge edgelette to cut the image out. I also cut the peak off the bottom so it would stand on its own. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E00,000,11,21,32,33,35,37. I used SU pocket silhouettes for the background images. The ink is also SU old olive, pretty in pink. I used SU cs for the flowers and added little pearls in the centers. I added some more mustard ink over the paper so it would tone the color down more.  The flowers were punched out with an ek success punch.
