Hi everyone,
We are still having very hot weather here. I't way too hot for me to go outside. I burn so quick and don't tan. So I stay with AC.
Well on to  todays card. This is Lacy Sunshine Dogwood Darla. She is so super cute. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E00,21,51,23,35 R20,81, YG63 . I used very little colors for this image. The card base is neenah cs and the layer paper was in my stash so I am not sure where it came from. I really need to find a way to keep track of the left overs. On each end of the music paper I used SU happiness shared stamp set. I stamped the small magnolia using SU close to cocoa 4 times on each side. I then added some sukura white gel pen and added some highlights to the image. I then decided the image needed a darker background so I used brown Brazil paper. The sentiment is the happiness shared set and stamped onto neenah cs and the ends of the banner were cut using a small SU square punch.  I added CTMH seam binding ribbon and a small crystle rose the center of the bow bow. I think she turned out so sweet.

I will enter this card into this challenge.

Blue Fae

Hi everyone,

Here is my second card for our challenge on 613 Ave Create using Fitztown fae 38. I made a video of the coloring of the card and putting the card together. The section of putting the card together didn't turn out. Being so new at making the videos I have no idea why it did not work. Here is the link to the video. The copic markers I used  were E11,00,0000,35,51, B21,23, R20, SNoir TB1, SU close to cocoa marker. I added some sukura glitter pen to the wings. The card Card base is neenah cs with a layer of SU bashful blue over top. I added a 4" doily cut in half then layered a piece of vanilla cs. I stamped the vanilla cs with hero arts background in bashful blue and then used the matching embossing folder. I used dimentionals on the back and popped it up a bit wonky. I added a CTMH ribbon bow and some pearls. The flowers were made using SU petite petal stamp and matching punch. I colored them in with B21, Y21. The leaves were cut using SU olive green using the blossoms punch. I hope you have enjoyed this card.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Sparkle and Shine Birthday

Hi everyone,

We had a couple of days of rain here and it was nice to have it cool down some. The weather is hot today but not over whelming. We have a few sponsors this week on 613 Ave Create. This card is from the Paper Shelter and the name of the digi is Rose. I printed her and the pre colored background onto neenah cs and colored the image with copic markers. I then fussy cut around her but it looked a bit messy with the curls on her hair so I cut them off. I like the look so I used a stampin' dimensional and popped her onto the front of the card. I added glitter on the butterfly and a few of the flowers. I added a white satin bow and then a sequin and finally a small heart on th
top. Three more of the sequins were added to the left hand side of the card. I stamped the sentiment using two stamp sets. The hello is HeroArtsC1342 and the birthday is from SU teeny tiny wishes using memento black ink.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!

Hi everyone,

We are still having very hot weather up in the 30c. I have been staying in as much as possible and going our when it is cooler in the evening.

Todays card is the start of 613 Avenue Create new challene for the week. I am using the sponsor Fitztown. The image is called Valentine 12. I love roses and I like to color them. I printed the card onto neenah cs and I have used copic markers. YG61,63,67. R81,83. I then used a white gel pen   give more highlights.  I then added three sequins. The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is from a 4x6 DCWV paper pad. I added a little wink os stella on the highlighted parts. The sentiment is My favorite things sentiment set. There was just too much white space so I used a ruler and a SU close to cocoa marker to add the frame.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I have another card for you from Deedee's digi's using the ornamental set. I printed it using MS Word program and added three layers and put a border around them. There is always a new digi for the month challenge at Deedee's.  It would be wonderful if you would join us.

It's time for a new Digi of the Month challenge! This month, our little penguin friend is beating the heat in "So Cool." Wouldn't this make some fun summery cards, scrapbook pages, and projects?

Hi everyone,

I made these two beautiful ornament cards using Deedee's Digi  designs. I created the design in MS Word using the pre colored images. I printed them onto neenah cs. I love the soft colors. On both of the images I have used the same image. border and sentiment.  On the first card I added some CTMH seam binding bows on each of the ornaments. I stamps our a few snowflakes added sparkle  to them and I think it turned out really adorable. On the second image I added sukura glitter pen to the ornaments and the stamped bows and it sure turned into a wow card. I printed out one of the paper sheets in the set and used some of it for a top and bottom border. I used SU soft sky cs cut 4.25 x 5.5. I cut the front bottom of the sky blue card stock using MS border punch. I really like how the both turned out. I hope you have enjoyed them.

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor on the Fairy's Challenge for the 15th of July is Aurora Wings digital stamps. I love these gorgeous stamps. They are so much fun to color. I printed the image onto neenah cs and cut it out with the spellbinders grand oval scallop die. I left it in the die and used SU chalk and chalked bashful blue around the image and that left the white border around the image. I added a few dots to the background using SU gorgeous grunge stamp set. I colored the image with copic markers. E00,000,21,51, R02,29, Y26, B21,23, V15,17. I added a lot of sparkle using sukura glitter pen. I decided to add a shirt on her using the R02 and then drew some flowers on it with the glitter pen. I cut the large flowers with MS flower punch and the smaller ones with ek success punch. I molded them and added pearls in the centers. The leaves were cut with MS vine punch. The ribbon was CTMH white seam binding that I colored using the R02 marker. I added assorted pearls randomly. The DSP is from a DCWV stack and I used the MS pointed flower border punch around it for more of a lacy look. I hope you have enjoyed my take on this image.

I will enter this image into these challenges.

Birthday Goose

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor on 613 Avenue Create this week is Rick St Dennis. I am using this Easter Goose but I made it into a cute Birthday card. I started off by watercoloring this image and I just didn't like it. I'm not too good at mixing the colors yet. Need more practice. So I reprinted it onto neenah cs and colored with assorted markers. The base of the card is spellbinders grand oval die cut twice. I scored the top about .5 and glued the top to the scored edge. I used a recollections corner punch on all of the corners. I then decided to bring in some pink also recollections. I took a MS border punch on the left edge. Added them to the card with a small piece of CTMH ribbon folded and glued on the top with a button I had in my stash. I used dimentional dots on the back of the image and popped it up on the card front. The flowers on the bottom are SU petite petals with the matching punch. The leaves are from SU on a branch punch. I added wink of stella clear onto the hat flower and ribbon broach.  I hope you like my interpretation of the Easter goose.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Turtle Christmas Globe

Hi everyone,

We are having really hot weather here so I haven't been going out unless I have to. I take the dog for a walk around 8:30 in the evening and it is so enjoyable to walk then.

I went to an estate sale a month or so ago and picked up some cotman and acadmey water color tubes. Some didn't have a lot in it but I was lucky enough that they just gave them to me.
there was a lot in a shoe container. I have just gotten around to putting them in a pallet, I made up a chart so I could see what the colors look like when put on watercolor paper. I really like the vibrancy of the colors. I also got quite a large sunflower stamp for $.50. I think I did alright and I was very pleased with them.

I decided to make a card tonight and used this cute Lacy Sunshine image called Shelly C Turtle. She is just so cute. It also comes with the 3D items if you want to use them. I Printed the image onto neenah cs and decided to use watercolors. I taped the image down good to keep it from warping too much. I used a Heidi Swapp stencil to put all the little dots in around the turtle. I had cut out the candy cane and the holly berries but I lost the berries so I only popped up the candy cane with foam dots. I then used the sizzix circle dies and cut out the image. I then though it would be cute if I made it look like a globe card. I cut two more larger circles and scored one .5 inches and glued the two together. I found a really cute DSP to put behind my front piece from DCWV painted petals stack. I added sequins for more sparke. I also used a lot of wink of stella on the image. It is a Christmas card so we need lots of glitter. I made a double bow using CTMH seam binding ribbon. To make the globe base on the bottom I used a MS border punch and glued it to the bottom. It didn't stand well being round so I trimmed off the a piece on the bottom to straighten it. I didn't cut it right and it was wonky. So I took another piece of the border punch and glued it over the first one. It just gives it a lacier look. I hope I have given you some inspiration to come up with some new ideas.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

The card base is neenah cs folded the long way.    This image is pre colored onto neenah cs and adding the sentiment. Don't you just love the font on this sentiment. I then added the navy blue border around the image before printing it all. One it was printed I took my recollections small snowflake punch and punched quite a few and scattered them around the card.
