Hi everyone,

Here is my entry for the Lacy Sunshine Challenge that started last week. I wanted to make a circle card for this image. The base card is neenah cs and I used three quick-kutz circle die to cut the circles.I really like this die because it has 20 circle dies and the largest is 5.5. So many choices.  I printed the image onto neenah cs before using the die so I would know what size I wanted to use. I colored it with a mix of copic markers E00,000,21,31 Y21,23, V9,15, YG61,63 and cromatix markers. Honeycomb 2&3 and Apricot 11. The cromatix markers are alcohol based from American Crafts. They are a less expensive brand but they blend well together. I didn't have any problem with them. The DSP is also from an American craft pad. I did add some of the cromatix markers on the flower background to bring in the color of the flower pot. I used a MS leaves border punch for the leaves under the pot. I used two recollections small flowers to scatter around the leaves. I had some left over gold dots so I put them in the centers of the flowers. The ribbon is a MS brand. I made the double bow and I don't know how I did it. I have since tried and can not seem to come up with how it was made. I will just keep trying. I added wink of stella onto the bottom flowers and the pearls on the pot.

I will add this card into this challenges.

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor this week at The Fairy's challenge is Art by Miran. I have used this sweet fairy image. I printed it out onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E00,000,21,35,33,31, YG61,63, BV000,01,02, The sky was a blue that I made with alcohol mix and I pained it on. I used a small cloud punch and distressed it with the same blue, added it to the edge and cut off the rest. The flowers are from my stash but I sprayed two of them with purple mix. I added a small seam binding bow. DSP are from Forever in Time purple prints. I added faux stitching with a sukura purple glitter pen. I had a few purple gems so I added them on each corner and one on her necklace.  I will add this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I started to make this card this  morning but stopped for a bit and help a friend do a bridal bouquet. It turned out lovely and we had a great time doing it. I then went to finish my card. I have used crafters companion flower fairy from one of their CD's on my card today.

I printed it off onto neenah white cs. The card base is Staples 100 lb vanilla cs and fussy cut  around the images. It is done in 3d. I have added wink of stella on the fairy, butterfly, and the MS border punch. The DSP is American Craft 6x6 paper pad from Local Winners store.  I placed a small doily cut in half under the image. The doily is from Micheal store. The sentiment is from my favorite thinks called essential sentiments from SSS. I used the MS stamp press that was also in my SSS order. Its a great stamp set that is done in hand writing. Lastly I used 3 buttons.

It will make a great birthday card. I will add this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Aurora Wings has started there new blog challenge March 17th. I am using the sisterhood digi that she has offered for the challenge. I had a lot of fun coloring this digi. I printed the image onto neenah cs. I used mixed media, copic markers for the skin/eyes and water color for the rest of the image. Copic markers used- E00,000,11,21 R20. Y13, E37. SU ink soft grey, more mustard, creamy caramel. I didn't use a lot of colors but I think it gave the image a lot of dimension.

DSP is from momenta 8x8 stack. I added a narrow ribbon at the top then layered the image over that. The Yellow swirl is memory box magic swirl die cut. The leaves leaves are from SU leaves edge-let die. The larger leaves are from an older ek success punch I got from my mother but still works great. The roses are done using the spellbinders blossom die, and then rolling them to make the roses. I added a bit of glue just dotting over the roses and sprinkling on the glitter. I used a small ek success flower punch for the little flowers. I put them on a soft pad and used the end of my paper piercer to give them a bit more dimension. I adding some gems in the centers. The top corner on the image is from using a corner die from kwikuts.
I will enter this card into these challenges.

We have a new challenge this week at The Fairy's challenge. Our sponsor is Art by Nikki Burnette. I am using this Birthday fairy. The card base is neenah cs 5.5x 4.25. The DSP is from K&Company stack. It was cut at 5.25 x 4 and then I used MS butterfly border punch on the left side.

The paper is now in two pieces. I added one to the left and the butterfly border to the right. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E31,21,51,00,000,11, B12,14, R20,81,83. I then layered the image onto SU pretty in pink cs.

I used the SU  two point flag punch and added two of them to the top left using the same DSP. The leaves were cut from SU blossom petal punch. I added a bit of stitching on them. The flowers are cut from a small punch from my stash. I added gems in the centers using the same DSP.

I used am ek success scallop frame punch and added SU happy birthday from the vintage label stamp set. The satin ribbon is also SU. I added wink of stella clear glitter on the wings, banners, flowers, leaves and the heart in her hair. I also added a bit of faux stitching around the scallop frame.

I then cut the image using a spellbinders shape. The card base is 110 lb staples vanilla cs. On the card base I used a MS punch around the page flower three times on the right of the card.. I then cut 3 solid butterflies and three fancy butterflies and added them to the center of the flower  using SU pretty in pink cs. I also used another 2" piece of pretty in pink for the left side of the card. I used an ek success border punch for more interest on the card.
