Hello!

Hi Everyone,

I am really please and excited to let you know that I now design for Deedee Digi Designs. I have used this really cute image called coffee cup greetings. It has so many cute images colored and line drawings,  they are fabulous.  The sentiments are great in this set. I really liked this pre colored image. If your interested there is a freebie to try before you buy. There are so many choices to choose from so please check out the Digis at Deedee digi designs here.  I printed the image onto neenah cs. I added wink of stella to the flower and then on the lighter areas I added sukura glitter pen. On the cup I thought it was a bit plain so I used two of the stamps in the SU gorgeous grunge stamp to give it more texture. I used a stencil on the bottom using spectrum noir cool grey light. The hello was added  with the flower and cup but I took a ruler and added a line across to make it look as though it is behind the image. I used the sukura glitter pen on the hello. I used a SU border punch on each side of the image and then make a border punching both sides for the right side of the card. The card base is Bazzil coral. I used the bigshot and used the sizzix flower vine embossing folder for the front of the card. The image was added with dimensional foam to pop it up a bit. I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor this week on the Fairy's Challenge is Sherry Baldy. I am using this  mermaid and her friend image. I had decided I wanted to make an easel card. My card base is 4.25x4.25 SU soft sky. I found this DSP from my scrap bin and layered it onto the top and bottom of my card. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored the background with SU chalk bashful blue. I stamped SU gorgeous grunge in bashful blue ink in the background over the chalk to form the bubbles. The image was then colored with copic markers. E00,000,11,50, R20,81,83, BG,10,13,15. I painted a few of the pearls in the pink and left the rest white. I added two larger pearl brads on each side of the card. I then added wink of stella on the image. I used SU modern label punch twice once in white and again in sky blue to cut out the sentiment stamp. I then popped it up with dimentional's. I made the bow with CTMH seam binding. I really like seam binding. It is so easy to make the bows with.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Thank you all for stopping by, happy crafting and have a great day!

Hi everyone,

We are starting a new challenge this week at 613 Ave Create. Our sponsor is Meljen's Designs. I am using this cute cupcake that I printed onto neenah cs. I coloured the image with prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I added some white highlights and added wink of stella pen to add a bit of glitter. I then added twine around the bottom and tied a bow. I added a few sequins and then a small corner from kwik kuts die. The base of the cs is recollections kraft. I then took a 5.25 x 4. neenah white cs and used my big shot with a cuttlebug embossing folder called beep beep 1. I used SU kraft and inked the flat side of the folder and then added my paper and put it through the cuttlebug. I love the effect it gives. The chevron arrow stamps are from CTMH. I inked them up with SU pretty in pink and then used the prismacolor pencil to match the cupcake frosting. I then fussy cut them out. The sentiment was inked with black ink and the stamp set is from a  SU set called happy moments.  The subway art is from NicksPosts free printable.

The inside of the card is layered with neenah cs. I also used the happy moments stamp set and added the decoration in the set to top and bottom. I stamped it with SU pretty in pink ink.  I punched the balloons using MS balloon punch. I added a bit of white pencil for the highlight on the balloons. I drew bows and ribbon strings. I made a bit of a mess at the bottom of the strings so I stamped another chevron arrow and then fussy cut it and centered it over the mistake. I then added a bit more twine and made a bow. I added a bit of wink of stella on the strings.I hope you have enjoyed and got inspired.

A Cup Of Joy

Hi everyone,

This adorable image is from Deedee Digital Designs. You will find this Digi here in the store along with lots more wonderful images and sentiments. The image I have used today is called Cup of joy. I used the pre colored image today and dressed it up a bit. The base of the card is neenah white cs. The layer I have used is SU daffodil delight. I really like this color and it goes so well with this image. I used a flower embossing folder to emboss the background. I printed the image onto neenah cs and layered it to the daffodil cs. I added some wink of stella on the card and a little on the rest of the image. I then added the birthday sentiment that is also inclued in the image at the bottom of the card. I added two small recollection punched flowers on each side of the sentiment. I added a small purple circle useing sakura glitter pen. I then decided it would be cute to add some embossed balloons at the top using MS punch. I used the sukura pen to write around the embossed area. I drew a line into the bouquet so the balloons were floating. I used SU gorgeous grunge stamp set to put the small dots in the background. These images are amazing to work with so please stop by the store and see all of Deedees wonderful art work. Deedee also has a challenge blog here so I do hope you will join in.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

I started coloring this image a month ago. I just wasn't sure how I wanted to make the card design. Sometimes it takes awhile. The card base is neenah cs cut two times at 6.5 inches. On one of the pieces I scored one half inch and folded it back. I then added the second piece and glued it on to make the base of the card. The image is printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. E00,000,21,51,  Y21,26, YR21, YG61,63, BV000,01,02, V12, The butterflies were also colored with the copic markers. I used ek-success of the 3 step butterfly punch and MS for the smaller ones. I added shadow under the small butterflies. I added glitter to all of the roses and butterflies. The first and second DSP is from DCWV eastern stack. I used MS vine border punch for the vine on the right side of the roses. The leaves under the white roses I used the SU blossoms punch. I added some sukura white gel pen on the flowers for highlights. The earring were done using sukura clear glitter pen.I added glitter onto the image. The roses were made using spellbinders small die using SU cs. The white roses are SU whisper white cs. I cut a small doily in half and added it to the side of the first layer but It really doesn't show up much. The ribbon and bow is CTMH seam binding.

I hope you have enjoyed my card and found something you liked and will inspire you.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Life's A Beach

Hi everyone,

I have some exciting news.

I have been so excited to tell you all that I have been accepted as a new DT member on Deedee's Digi Design's.

I first came across Deedee's Digi Designs Challenge when I was going through Paper Playful challenges a few months ago looking for a challenge to enter my card into. I checked it out and thought how cute and adorable are these images. It is a challange of the month so I do hope you will check it out and join in on the challenge. I love the digis  and started playing in the challenge.

Deedee had a recent DT call so I tried out for the team. I was so thrilled to have been one of the few that were chosen for this term.

June challenge of the month didi is using Life's a Beach set.
The challenge starts today. I thought it was fitting to make a card with this months digi.

The card base is SU yellow. The DSP is from DCWV. I cut two pieces and used MS border punch. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers.  R81,83, Y15,21,23, N2,4,6, B12,14.  I have a very lite pink in the spectrum noir that I have used on the nose. The top part of the image I have used a mask for the clouds and filled the background with bashful blue SU chalk. On the bathing suit I decided it needed something extra so I took a white sukura gel pen and made the polka dots. I then layered a piece of black behind the image. I also rounded the corners on the image and layer. The sentiment is from the same set. Such a cute sentiment. I punched it our with the SU scalloped oval. I cut two more out of the black cs and cut them in half. I then layered them around the sentiment.  I used flowers from my stash for the right side of the card.

I will enter this card into these challenges.

Hi everyone,

Carol here from Happy Expressions to share a project with you at Shes A Sassy Lady. Thank you so much Shelia for letting me share a card with you.

I have this really cute saturated canary image called Rose Red. I colored this image a while back and didn't get around to making a card with it. When I was going through my colored images I came across this one. The card base is SU and I embossed the white layer with SU final press embossing folder and the bigshot. I cut the corners with the die-namics corner die four times. The image was printed onto neenah cs and colored with copic markers. Eoo,ooo,21,31,33,35,37,50,  R20 YR02,000.YG61,63, B12,14. I used SU thinlet die to cut around the image and layered it with foam squares on the back. I faux stitched around the corner die and hand wrote the hello on the bottom corner with sukura white get pen. I added the SU topnote die 0n the inside of the card using neenah cs.

Thank you all so much for stopping by, happy crafting and have a great day!

Myrtle Diamond In The Rough

Hi everyone,

I made this card with Lacy Sunshine loyalty program using Myrtles diamond in the rough. She is just so adorable. The Challenge is to use dies or punches.I have used a spellbinders shape to make this card. Card base is neenah cs cut twice. I scored the back a half inch and glued them together. I colored the image with copic markers. E00,000,21, 11,13,15, Y13,15, B12,14, R81,83, W1,3. Spectrum Noir CG1,2, DG3. The small leaves were stamped with SU old olive. The stamp is called tiny tag. I then decided to add a bit of watercolor to the background. It did warp the paper a little but not too bad, She also has a small smudge on the right side of her mouth. It was an accident but it just looks like she has a dirty face. I thought it was cute so I left it alone. I then added three sequins.

I will enter this card into these challenges

Fairy Princess

Hi everyone,

It was a gorgeous day today so I took my dog for a walk. He is always so happy to go and he has to stop and visit everyone on the street. It was still a great walk though.

We have a new challenge starting at 613 Avenue Create and our sponsor is Fitztown Digital Art.   If you haven't guessed by now I love fantasy art, especially fairies. I choose to use this Fae #29. I printed it onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E00,000,11,13,21, YR21,24,26,  V0000,01, BV00, 000,01, YG61,63, R20,24,81. I added some wink of stella on most of the image. The pearls were from a swirl that were too large so I cut them down so they would fit better. The flowers on the bottom were white and I spray painted them. I added some small spots on the background using SU Gorgeous Grunge stamp with pirouette pink ink. The ribbon is from my stash. I am running out of the white so it is time to purchase more. The base card is neenah cs that I put through the bigshot with a sizzix flower vine embossing folder. The green layer is SU almost artichoke, now retired. I added dimensional foam to the back of the image to pop it up. I hope you find some inspiration from this card.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Doctor Stork

Hi everyone,
We have a new challenge starting at The Fairy's Challenge today. Our sponsor is Stitchy Bear Designs. I am using this cute stork that I printed onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. R7,9, B12,14, N2,4,6, YR21,24, W1,3. I then used the SU note die and the bigshot to cut around the image. I cute the outside trim off and didn't like it so I used my finger and distressed around the edge. I then added kraft ink to the edges. I used some orange twine wrapped around the bottom of the image and tied a bow. I had an orange button that I thought looked great and then added a small sticker over the holes. The silver sequins just filled in that little something I thought it needed. The card base is neenah cs and the DSP is DCWV. The happy birthday is computer generated with a drop shadow added to it.

Thank you so much for stopping by, happy crafting and have a fabulous day!
