Birthday Goose

Hi everyone,

Our sponsor on 613 Avenue Create this week is Rick St Dennis. I am using this Easter Goose but I made it into a cute Birthday card. I started off by watercoloring this image and I just didn't like it. I'm not too good at mixing the colors yet. Need more practice. So I reprinted it onto neenah cs and colored with assorted markers. The base of the card is spellbinders grand oval die cut twice. I scored the top about .5 and glued the top to the scored edge. I used a recollections corner punch on all of the corners. I then decided to bring in some pink also recollections. I took a MS border punch on the left edge. Added them to the card with a small piece of CTMH ribbon folded and glued on the top with a button I had in my stash. I used dimentional dots on the back of the image and popped it up on the card front. The flowers on the bottom are SU petite petals with the matching punch. The leaves are from SU on a branch punch. I added wink of stella clear onto the hat flower and ribbon broach.  I hope you like my interpretation of the Easter goose.

I will add this card into these challenges.

Thank you for stopping by, happy creating and have a fabulous day!

Hey Carol - that's a really nice design! Love the colors on his beak and feet. And I love how you did the ribbon... simple but effective.
