SC Little Dutch Girl

Hi everyone,

Isn't this SC dutch girl by Krista Smith the cutest image! If you join the Het Dutch Blog you will get this cute image free. If you get the image it is required that you use it in their challenge they have going right now. The base layer of the card is recollections white, and the image was printed on colorbox white.I stitched around the image b/c it just need that something extra. I used a corner punch [no name]. I colored her with copics, adding some color to the background. The grass was colored with SU green markers and then I flicked the darker color to make it look more like grass. I was going to add a few flowers but every time I tried to draw them it looked awful so its just grass. I added the image to DCWV DSP whimsy stack, adding a SU ribbon in bashful blue and 3 half blue circles to the top. Not sure what they are called, Sorry! I used some small flowers from a round ball that had tons of them on it. Took them off and added some yellow copics to give them more color. The larger flower is from a bouquet I had and thought it would look good added to it so it was also colored a bit with copics Y13. I am please with the result. I will enter her into these challenges.

Hi everyone.

Over at Jacksons Digital Expressions this week one of our sponsors is Bugaboo stamps. I am using this cute image called Ruby Tidbits Coffee.  I made a shaped card using SU edgeletts. I cut my paper using four different sizes. I decided to just use the top of Ruby and make the card into a thank you. I colored her with copics E21,00,000, B00,02,05, Y 21,26, R32. The paper is again DCWV DSP  . I used MS butterfly border punch cut twice and layered one under the other. The ribbon is bashful blue. The pearls were just another added element that I thought would look cute. The sentiment is taken from the stamp set Because I Care.To finish it off I doodled around the edges to brighten it up. I also used the glitter pen to go over the sentiment thank you and punched it out with word window punch. I will enter this card into these challenges.

Happy Birthday Robert Jackson

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was great and the weather was good for walking so I did a lot of walking with Yogi. At Jacksons Digital Expressions this week one of our sponsors is The Cutting Cafe so I used their sentiment It's party time... The happy birthday is a SU sentiment. The card is made to celebrate Robert Jacksons birthday. Happy Birthday Robert! I thought this cowboy would make a cute birthday card. He is colored with copics, and the background is sponged with old olive and bashful blue. I cut him our with the spellbinders oval. The card base is recollections white and the rest of the papers are DCWV.  I added 3 grey brads and 1 star brad that I put on his chest to make him the sheriff. The inside is decorated to match the DSP on the outside of the card. I am entering him into these challenges.

Because I Care

Hi everyone,
  I made this card especially for the Linkup for Pink challenge following their sketch. I used a white card base and added a large circle doily that was embossed with a cuttlebug folder and cut with the cricut using the MS cartridge. I put a circle of green on the back of the doily to give it a bit more color. I then used MS butterfly edge border in pink and white. The image is a Saturated Canary free image called Boobie Love that Krista Smith made for BC. This image is so cute with her big eyes. She was so much fun to color using copics. E 21, ooo,oo,33,31, Y21, R20, 81,83, C3. I used a MS bird punch for the two little birds. I put one pearl on the flower and 3 up on the top right corner. The flower was a small flower punch, I used a corner punch for the right bottom corner [not sure what its called] The sentiment is called because I care from SU then I used another label punch to cut it out. I doodled around the edges of the card and label using a sukura glitter pink pen. I wanted to use a pink ribbon but I didn't have the right pink. I am adding this card into these challenges.

Autumn Leaves

Hi everyone,

I hope your day was as good as mine turned out to be. I went to the home my mother lives in and took her out for a walk. I was a bit nervous because the last time I took her she had a tumble and broke the knuckles on her right hand. Luck was with us and she had no stumbles.  I visit a lot and never see anyone that walks around the large area around the home. I then decided to try Yogi off leash for his walk. That made me a bit apprehensive but decided I needed to start trusting this little fellow. He was wonderful. He went so far then would look to see where I was then came running back to me. I was sure doing my happy dance many times today for his accomplishments. LOL! It doesn't take much to make me happy. Mom got such a kick out of his playful antics.

At Just A Stampin' this week the challenge is signs of fall leaves. Well I had lots of time to think of something but my mind just kept coming up blank. Then I went through a DCWV Autumn book and took a page from there. It had lots of sparkle, and leaves. I thought it was so cute and would make a great fall card. I then added an orange backing to it with and orange ribbon. The sentiment is from stampendous Autumn stamps. I then cut 3 leaves out of the flower shoppe cartridge and colored them up with copics. I popped them up with dimensional's and added glitter to the tops. The inside is decorated to match the front panel. I am adding this card into these challenges.

Flower Clock Special Times

Hi everyone,

Jacksons Digital Expressions challenge sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe. I thought this little image would look cute on a center fold card. The DSP is all DCWV. I colored the image with copics- R 20, 22, Y 15,19, G 12, 24, B41. I then used an orange glitter sukura pen for the doodles around the image frame and the dots around the clock. Lil Karate Birthday!

 Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend. I had a fun, relaxed weekend at my daughters looking after her two dogs plus mine. I just love watching them all play and romp in the back yard. My little Yogi was so tired by noon today he just wanted me to cuddle him so he could nap. The first he paid attention to me all weekend. It was so good for the pups to be together.

On with today's card. This week at Jacksons Digital Expressions the challenge is inks and such. My grandson had his 9th birthday and the parents always have a separate party with the grandparents. Both boys are in Judo so I decided to use this cute karate image from Jacksons Digital Expressions. It was such a hit with both boys. The papers used are DWV DSP and recollections white and kraft. I colored the image with copics 100, E 21, 00, 000, 33, 35,37, C3. I will enter this card into these challenges.

I was very busy today with cleaning and getting some stuff done around here that I had neglected because I wanted to create.  . Phew I won't do that again. Its now 2:30 pm and all that is left is shampooing the carpet, that will wait until tomorrow.  On with today's card. At Jacksons Digital Expressions challenge is always anything goes. Phobe fishing

Hi everyone,

At Just A Scrappin' this week our challenge is a celebration. blue,pink,white,3 pearls or rhinestones. Hope to see you there. My card this week is a cute image by Jacksons Digital Expressions. I added Phobe in PSP and then put the pup in the image with her. Isn't she cute! I colored her with copics - E 31,33,35 BV 15,12, B41, G63. The DSP is DCWV and I used a 1" circle punch to get the flowers on the side using the same DSP. I decorated the inside to match the outside. The rhinestones were clear but I colored them with BV 12. It doesn't show up but the card is much prettier in reality. I am entering this card into these challenges-
