Elegant Lady!
Hi everyone,
This is the last week to get into the big prize draw over at Jacksons Digital Expressions. It ends August 6 so get your entry in to win some digital images and a bigshot machine. The image I used for this card reminds me so much of my grandmother I had to use it into todays card. Gran always wore a hat and never went anywhere until she was dressed to the nines. She was a beautiful and lady inside and out. My mother really misses her so I have made this card as a just because for her.
The image is from Jacksons Digital Expressions Click on the name and it will take you to the store to browse all the images. Our challenge this week is a really cute sketch. I used K&C for the papers, punched around the borders with heart border edge punch. Layerd them all with kraft card stock, then added punched flowers and brown/green ribbon. She is colored with copics and glittered with a pink sukura glitter pen. I then doodled around the card. Sometimes the camera captures it all and sometimes like todays it doesn't show how pretty it really is. Thank you for stopping by, happy creating! I am entering this card into these challenges.

Maisy's Day
Hi everone,
At Just a Scrappin' today our challenge is glitter and shine. I love using glitter even though it gets all over everything including me. I used an image called Maisy from the Joanna Sheen CD called Daisy and friends. This has the cuteses girl images that are so much fun to color with my copics. I cut the green scalloped circle from the George cartridge to go with the smaller white oval and that was cut with the Clozzel. She was then layered onto the polka dot background that I had added glitter to all the dots. The afpha background was added to give more color. Both were from DCWV paper stack. I cut the daisy out with a daisy die from SU but only used the smaller of them. then added a piece of so saffron ribbon under the flower, and some ribbon to the top of the card. Then I added some doodles. I also finished the inside to match the outside using the left over papers from the front of the card.
Stamps - Joanna Sheen CD - Daisy and Friends Maisy
Paper - Gina K white, DCWV kids stack, SU kiwi kiss
Ink - printer, copics - BV00,02,E31,35,50,02,00,0000 and black gel pen
Accessories - cricut george, SU big shot, daisy die, so saffron ribbon, purple gem from my stash. I am entering this card into these challenges.

The Date!
Hi everyone,
I hope your day is going well. I am relaxing and just enjoying myself and my pets. My children were busy today so I have the day to do what ever I decide to. Here is an altered project I wanted to share with you. I have wanted to make covers for my digital family photos and today is the first one. I am sure there will be many more to show later. This one is for 2012 photos and at Jacksons Digital Expressions as a DT memeber I needed to make an altered item, and I decided on an altered CD cover. I used Jacksons Digi The Date. This is such a cute couple that I just couldn't resist using it. I used kraft background and stamped it with SU boho backgrounds with kraft ink. DCWV DSP and white Gina K card stock. I colored with copics, and wrote the sentiment free hand. To finish it off I added a small brown ribbon and doodled around the papers. Very clean and simple. I am entering this CD cover into these challenges.

Hi everyone,
Today is so exciting for me. I am offically being announced as being a Jacksons Digital Expressions DT member. I am so thrilled to be chosen to be on a team with such wonderfully talented people. The images are so adorable and fun to color. Today at Jacksons Digital Expressions our sponser is Mazyart and the theme is School Days. I have chosen to use this cute little image School time Hailey and colored her with copics. Mazyart has wonderful digital images and she would love it if you went to her site and checked them all out. I started off with a white 5x7 card base and layered it with 2 pieces of DCWV seasons DSP stack. The sketch Is from JDE and just seems to suit the image. I layered the DSP with a solid color kraft from recollections. It looks more like a tan than kraft. I used SU die cut for the image and doodled around the papers using a green pen. I added SU butterflies and a flower that was in my stash. Used glitter on the butterflies, flower and ribbons in her hair, two pearls were added to the center of the butterflies. The ribbon is a satin kraft. I am entering her into these challenges.

Christmas Tag
Hi everyone,
I was coloring and I decided to use this little chirstmas image and make a tag. I had printed it out at 3" but it was just to small to do much with it. This is a Krista Smith, Saturated Canary image I colored with copics. E 33,35,37, 21, 00.0000. R 81,83, B12, 14, 100, YG 63,67, W1. I then cut using the big shot and the SU 2 tags bigz die. I added glitter to the snowflakes, snow, snowman. Coloring smaller images are sure a challenge, but it was fun. I am entering this tag into these challenges,

Hi everyone,
Our sunshine has left us already and we again have rain. It doesn't feel cood out so that helps a lot. Today I am officially a member of Jacksons Digital Expressions. I am so pleased and honored to be chosen to be on their team. Now lets get on with todays card. Our sponsor this week at Jacksons Digital Expressions is Bugaboo Stamp, "I like my moring coffee!" so I have chosen Flo Drink Coffee. What a fun image it was to color with copics. I used a white card base and layered the cardbase with 2 DCWV DSP. The image is layered onto a SU kiwi kiss card stock. I added red twine and a bow, then added doodles around the card base. Here is my project. I used Beach Baby digi from Saturated Canary. I have colored the whole image with copics. I used a 5x7 white card base from recollections and the DSP is from DCWV paper stack. I cut out some of the shells from the paper stack to use as embellishments. The twine is from a large bag I picked up from Micheals that had lots of different colors to choose from. I stitched around the DSP and the image with a sakura brown sparkle pen. I also added some clear sakura pen in spots on the sand and in her pail. The inside was decorated with matching DSP.

Pearl's In My Hair
Hi everyone,
Wow! After all the rain we have had, we have finally got the summer we have all been waiting for. HOT! Today's card was made for Jacksons Digital Expressions. He has such wonderful images to work with. Today we are using one of their sponsers images. A Day For Daisies and I choose to use the image Pearls In My Hair. It is a beautiful image and I so enjoyed coloring it. Sorry for the glare on the photo but I took so many pictures and this is the best of them all. It is a box I have altered and decorated the lid. I am using them for gift wrap this year. My family does scrapbooking so I thought they could use the image in their scrapbooking if they wished. I colored the image with copics. Added some leaves from a SU leaf embosslet, then added small pearls in her hair. I made some fimo roses for decoration and added a SU whisper white ribbon. The DCWV DSP works great with the image. This one is for my beautiful daughter. It just reminds me of her.
Papers: DCWV DSP, Recollections white card stock, Gina K white card stock for the image.
Ink: printer ink, copics,
Accessories: SU embosslet leaves, whisper white satin ribbon, unknown small pearls, small fimo roses, Photo Box
I am entering this image into these challenges:

Summer Fun Mini Hop!
<
Hi Everyone.,
Hello and welcome to our Summer Fun Mini Hop! We have centered the hop around the summer olympics. Chana is the host of the hop. Here at Jackson's Digital Expressions, we thought it would by "Jolly" good idea to use this hop to introduce one of our new sponsors. So, in addition to the six wonderful images from our resident artist, Robert Jackson, you have an opportunity to win an adorable image from Digi Darla.
The rules are very simple. We are asking this "Burning" question: "What is
Red, Yellow, Black, Green, Blue and has Rings?" As you visit each blog, look
for the mystery words which are hints to help you answer the question. Return
here and leave a comment which includes your answer to the Mystery
Question!
Start here at Jacksons's Digital Expressions, post your entry into the
challenge and then begin the hop. Here is the order:
I used the DigiDarla baseball girl printed at 3" in Word. I colored
her with copics then cut with the spellbinders #5 largest cut in the set. I drew around that cut and made a frame just a bit larger. I colored the background with chalk.
I used SU
whisper white and DCWV Far East DSP stack. Added some bright pink twine
from Micheal's. I punched out 3- 1/2" circles for the baseballs and added
the red stitching with red gel pen. I mostly just kept it clean & and simple.
I hope you will all join us in this hop. Have fun and enjoy! Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a message.
