Pumpkin Patch

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great Halloween and stayed safe.

Today at Just A Scrappin', our challenge is Halloween using the colors orange, green and purple. I have choosen this cute pumpkin patch image from Jacksons Digital Expressions. I have colored the pumpkins with copics. R 05, 08 YG 61,63, ground E 31, 33. I layered the image onto Halloween DSP and then layered it onto black card base. I meant to use purple twine but had already used the green so I just made some small purple ribbons. The Happy Halloween is printed onto the image by computer. I will enter this card into these challenges.

Witchy Bear

Hi everyone,

I am thrilled to say that my granddaughter Alexis and I were asked to be Guest Designers at Lexis Creations challenge this week. This image is called Witchy bear from Lexis Creations The Fairy Dust Crafts Store.I wanted to add texture to the bear using copics and I am pleased with how he turned out. I used a recollections halloween stack with a background image. I cut a little ghost out of the DSP paper and added it as an extra embellishment. The Happy Halloween is printed from MS word. This is such a super cute image and fun to color.

Beary Halloween

Hi everyone,

I am thrilled to say that my granddaughter Alexis and I were asked to be GD at Lexis Creations challenge. This is the card Alexis made. Alexis is 10 years old and loves to craft with me and have sleep overs. We do have a great time. This image is called Pumpkin bear from Lexis Creations The Fairy Dust Crafts Store. Alexis started off using markers but she didn't like how it was turning out. So she took another image and used prisma pencils and gamsol. She really likes this technique and she finds it easier for her to blend the colors. She also used the corner punch on the image. She didn't want to ruin it if she messed up cutting around the image. The papers are from recollections halloween stack and she wanted black and orange. She did well choosing the papers. At the last minute she found a black ribbon and asked me to add it for her. She also chose the sentiment and I printed it off on the computer. I am very proud of her.

Lil Franky

Hi everyone,
At Jackson Digital Expressions this week our theme is Halloween. There is a cute sketch to follow. Lil Franky is one of the new Jacksons digitals and he was so much fun to color. I loved using the green on his face and finding the papers to make him pop. Frank is colored with copics G 13, 24, R5,9, N4,6,8, Y26.15, and then I took a black pen to give him some stitching scars. The background paper already had the little creatures on it so it really added to the front. I will send this card to my Grandson in Calgary. I know he will love it! I will add this card into these challenges.

Lil Dracula

Hi everyone,

I thought I would get a head start on my treat boxes for the grandchildren. This little box is called a  flat backed box. I got the pattern and tutorial from split coast stampers. I used DCWV black card stock for the box. It is quite a heavy stock so works well for boxes. I will add some small candies in the box before the kids get them. The image is a Jacksons Digital Expressions digi called Lil Dracula and all little boys like Dracula and spiders. I colored him with copics, E00,000,0000, N 2,4,6,8 . Not many colors but worked well. The DSP is from Recollections halloween pack. I will enter this project into these challenges.
