....Home is where the heart is...

Hi everyone,

Tuesday Taggers challenge this week is to use a project that features a house. I thought is was a great idea so I just had to join in. Their sponsor this week is the Craft Barn and we are to add a link in our post to them. Raise The Bar challenge is wanting a hut on your project. Any type of home.  I used the cut for the light house from wall decor and more cartridge and cut it at 4". It had 2 layer to the cut but I added some paper behind the windows to make it pop. I used an embossing folder on the lighthouse, hoping to make it look like it had bricks.  The cloud was cut by hand and I should have made it a bit longer to go behind the lighthouse, but I didn't think if it untill I had finished the card. The seagulls were cut at 1" using life is a beach cartridge. I didn't have a sentiment I wanted so I used the computer and typed it up. I used the big shot with the top note die for the frame and  added white stitching around the frame to finish it off.

Paper: DCWV autumn splendor DSP, SU close to cocoa, whisper white, crushed currey, garden green
Ink: white gel pen
Accessories: big shot top note die, embossing folder, computer sentiment, life is a beach , wall decor and more cricut cartridge's.

Thank you all for stopping by and visiting. Happy Creating everyone.

Flamingo Birthday

Hi everyone,

Bitten by the Bug2 challenge is using Life is a Beach cartridge flamingo. The catch was to make the flamingo any color but pink to really make it a challenge. This was a fun challenge to do and the Design team cards are just so beautiful that I needed to make a flamingo for myself. Check them out and see for yourself how adorable they look. Second was Fantabulous Cricut challenge and the theme was Tropical. The DT had some great cards also.  I used the cuttlebug folder Victoria for the background. Cut the flamingo at 3.5, added faux stitching and stickles.

Paper: DCWV glitter pack, SU taken with teal, so saffron
Ink: black gel pen
Accessories: life is a beach cartridge, 1/4" circle punch, polka dot ribbon

Thanks for stopping by to visit, Thank you  to all my followers, I appreciate that you like what I have created.  Happy Creating everyone!

Happy Anniversary Hibiscus

Hi Everyone,

I have been doing challenges with a friend of mine Cat at Cat's Creative Corner. Her creations are beautiful so go check out her site to see all her wonderful creations. She sent me an email tonight to give me a push to get my challenges done. Well as you can see it worked. I am entering this card into two challenges. The sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge.  Pear Tree Designs is asking for wedding/anniversary cards. I needed an anniversary card  and my friend like bold colors, so if you were wondering why these colors, now you know. I embossed the corners with the vintage embossing folder. The die cut is the hibiscut flower from the life is a beach cartridge.

Stamp Set: SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
Paper: DCWV shimmer stack
Ink: stazon black
Accessories: SU boho blossoms punch, clear rhinestones, star dust stickles, SU vintage embossing folder, Cricut Life is a beach cartridge.

Thank you all for stopping by for a visit, and thank you to all my followers. I love reading your comments. Happy Creating everyone!
