Hi everyone,

Here is my entry for the Lacy Sunshine Challenge that started last week. I wanted to make a circle card for this image. The base card is neenah cs and I used three quick-kutz circle die to cut the circles.I really like this die because it has 20 circle dies and the largest is 5.5. So many choices.  I printed the image onto neenah cs before using the die so I would know what size I wanted to use. I colored it with a mix of copic markers E00,000,21,31 Y21,23, V9,15, YG61,63 and cromatix markers. Honeycomb 2&3 and Apricot 11. The cromatix markers are alcohol based from American Crafts. They are a less expensive brand but they blend well together. I didn't have any problem with them. The DSP is also from an American craft pad. I did add some of the cromatix markers on the flower background to bring in the color of the flower pot. I used a MS leaves border punch for the leaves under the pot. I used two recollections small flowers to scatter around the leaves. I had some left over gold dots so I put them in the centers of the flowers. The ribbon is a MS brand. I made the double bow and I don't know how I did it. I have since tried and can not seem to come up with how it was made. I will just keep trying. I added wink of stella onto the bottom flowers and the pearls on the pot.

I will add this card into this challenges.

Dreams Come True Fairy

Hi everyone,

I started to make this card this  morning but stopped for a bit and help a friend do a bridal bouquet. It turned out lovely and we had a great time doing it. I then went to finish my card. I have used crafters companion flower fairy from one of their CD's on my card today.

I printed it off onto neenah white cs. The card base is Staples 100 lb vanilla cs and fussy cut  around the images. It is done in 3d. I have added wink of stella on the fairy, butterfly, and the MS border punch. The DSP is American Craft 6x6 paper pad from Local Winners store.  I placed a small doily cut in half under the image. The doily is from Micheal store. The sentiment is from my favorite thinks called essential sentiments from SSS. I used the MS stamp press that was also in my SSS order. Its a great stamp set that is done in hand writing. Lastly I used 3 buttons.

It will make a great birthday card. I will add this card into these challenges.

Peace Love and Flower Power

Hi everyone,

We had snow last night and its still snowing here. A great day to stay in doors and create cards in my craft studio. I made this card with Lacy Sunshine image Eleanor hippie. She is so cute in her hippie outfit.  The card base is Recollections Kraft cut and folded in half. I added a border that I sprayed with a stencil I cut with my cricut. I used my MS border edge star punch on the bottom of the strip. I cut a small strip off the so I could also add it to the top of the image. The designer series paper is from American crafts Lucky Charms paper pad. I really like that pad and I only have a few papers left of it. I printed the image onto neenah cs and colored it with copic markers. E00,000,21,13,15,18, R7,9, Y2123, B12,14,26. It was then cut our with die cut frames 2. The flowers were cut with recollections small flower punch. I colored 3 small pearls and added them to the center. The small tag at the bottom of the page is a quick cuts tag that I cut using my big shot. I added flower charm and blue twine and made a bow. The stars that were left from the border punch were added randomly to the tag. The sentiment is from a Christmas stamp set from Just Rite noel ornaments. It just seemed to be the best sentiment I had to go along with the theme. I will add the card to these challenges.

We Three Geese

Hi everyone,

Can you believe it is the end of November already. I was feeling ill for a few weeks but am on the mend and trying to get everything done that I need to do including a few more Christmas cards.

We are having another challenge starting over at 613 Ave Create. The DT theme this week was to use gift packaging. Our sponsor this week is Rick St Dennis. I have chosen to use this really cute Christmas image called We Three Geese. I had fun creating this gift card. The card base is SU red scored and folded in half. I printed the image onto Neenah Solor white cs and colored with copics. W1,3, Y19,15,13, R5,7,9,22,24,27, B23,26, I added some little dots from a package of stickers that was in my stash. The DSP is American Crafts Wonderland 6x6 pad, The Geese were cut from spellbinders sq scallop die. I cut the tree from A cut above die. Its the smaller of the trees. I then added distressed marker picket fence to make it look like snow. I should have added puff paint instead. Oh well, next time. The Sentiment is from Justrite ornament stamp set .I then added a white feather to the first goose. The inside sentiment is an older Christmas sentimant from SU. I added the same papers to match the front and added a piece of ribbon. Added a few snowflakes from a punch. I hope you have enjoyed my card today.
