Friends

Hi everyone,

We have another challenge at 613 Avenue Create this week. The challenge theme is Friends. Our sponsor this week is Kenny K and I am using the cute digi called Breast Cancer Fight. I printed her off onto neenah cs and coloured her with copic  markers. The fold is a Penny Duncan svg center fold card cut that I cut using my cricut and sure cuts a lot. The DSP is from my scraps and I don't remember the company name. The border at the bottom of the card was made using SU border punch. I added green ribbon from stash and liquid pearls. The sentiment is from my computer. I will enter this card into these challenges.

Stamps - Kenny K breast cancer fighter, Friends from computer

Summer

Hi everyone,
We had a very muggy hot day here today. Thank goodness for AC. I don't take well to the heat so I did stay cool. Our Challenge on the Fairys Challenge blog is summer flowers. I have used this cute digi from Digi's 4 Joy. I printed her onto neenah cs and coloured her with copic markers. I then used a spellbinder to cut the image with my big shot. The DSP is DCWV and it is so pretty. I loved the colours. I added a soft green ribbon and some liquid pearls on the card. I had some small flowers in my stash so I used 3 that matched the colours in the paper. I will enter this card into these challenges.

Making Cocoa

HI everyone,

It's a busy time for me getting ready to go to my grandsons wedding. I've been trying to get all of my commitments finished before I go. I'm getting there, just a few projects left to do and then the wedding card. Then I will start packing.

My card today is a Lacy Sunshine digi printed onto neenah cs and coloured with copic. I used a SU die to cut the digi out and traced on pattern paper to make a layer. I distressed the edges with SU early expresso. The patterned paper is from MME Santa Claus stack. The papers are very pretty but I accidentally put the glue on the wrong side of the brown one and I couldn't get it off without ruining the card so I left it. Its a bit darker than I would normally do a Christmas card but I could also use it for a December Birthday. Problem solved. I added a small element on the right bottom corner to bring in the browns. The ribbon was from my stash. It needed a little something else so I added some glitter and liquid pearls. I will add this card into these challenges.

Gemma

Hi everyone,

It's my turn to post on Shelia's blog She's a Sassy Lady. Thank you Shelia for allowing me to join you today.

I love the stair step cards and today I have another one for you. I cut the stair step from Penny Duncan Creations free svg file. It is so nice to be able to cut any size. It also has the inside as a cut file. I cut this one at 5.5x5.5. The DSP is from a Recollections stack. The digi is from Lacy Sunshine called Gemma Drop. She is so cute. I coloured her with copic markers. E00,000,21,31,33,35, YG61,63, BV01,02 N0. It needed a bit more for embellishments so I took my pencil and drew 2 more marshmellows using the two that Heather has beside Gemma as a pattern to follow.  I then popped them up with dimensional's. The sentiment is from Pink by Design stamp set. I will enter this card into these challenges.
